Sadly a waste of money and child disappointed.
The soil discs wouldn’t break apart. After three hours this is what they still look like. NO SEEDS for the sundew plant were in the packet. At the bottom of the instruction sheet it states “plants are very small and slow growing.”

How long till it grows?
Uhm nothing has grown and it's been a few months. What should I do? I know this is the review area but I figured other people could reply with advice as well.

This terrarium takes lots of time and effort!
While this product is a good introduction into the world of growing carnivorous plants. I HIGHLY recommend you do your research and know what your getting yourself or your children into. Carnivorous plants take quite a lot to grow and care for and its recommend you research the three plants included in this kit. Some tips as well, pitcher plants need to cold stratify before germination. Skip the dirt included in the kit and just used a damp paper towel. Put it into a Zip lock bag and leave it in your fridge for 4-5 weeks. Your seed will not grow if you dont do this. Another thing, the substrate that this kit comes with is very poor quality. I recommend a base of orchid bark growing medium at the bottom of the terrarium(about and inch and a half) and the rest sphagnum peat moss (up to a ¼ inch from the rim) for the best growing medium. Both of those can be found commonly at garden and hardware stores. This kit takes time, so dont be discouraged if nothing sprouts in the first month. If you or your children are looking to get into carnivorous plants, this is a good gateway but is slow to show results.

None of the seeds even sprouded
Follow the instructions, followed the instructions and NONE of the seeds even sprouted. I have purchased many seeds and it is rare that none of the seeds even show signs of life. So I am guessing the seeds were no good. The container is good. so i am able to reused but my son was disappointed .
