Malibu Sun SPF 2 Bronzing Fast Tanning Body Butter with Beta Carotene, Water Resistant, Tropical Coconut Fragrance, 300ml

I love this! I’m someone who doesn’t tan easily, but with using this it’s really sped up the process and I have a lovely colour now! But please be careful this is not a sun block, make sure to have regular breaks from this sun! My usual routine is half an hour in the sun when the UV is moderate, then half an hour break away from the sun and so on, I haven’t burnt just have a really nice colour! Unfortunately this is a little greasy but the smell is gorgeous and takes me back to my childhood!

10/10 used this last summer and my tan was golden bronze! Loved it, tan lasted longer than usual. Used it again and it did not disappoint.

I’m a massive fan of the Malibu Carrot oil and so decided to try this for the sun beds. I was expecting a body butter cream consistency but it’s more of a solid balm that you have to scrape out and warm in your hands before applying. I knew as soon as I started putting it on it wasn’t for me! I would think if you kept it warm it might soften and spread easier but it’s quite a thick oil feeling on the skin that doesn’t absorb. I only used a small amount and hoped it would ‘melt’ in as I cooked under the sun bed but after my 12 minutes it was still very greasy and sticky to the touch. Now…this is fine if you are literally just going the sun beds and then back home to shower but it’s not ideal if you have to nip to the shops after or even back to work if you have a quick tan at lunch. I left greasy deposits everywhere and I gave myself a good wipe down after getting off the bed as well…so wear clothes you don’t mind getting marked etc and watch the car seats if wearing a vest! It did shower off easily with shower gel and left my skin feeling soft and I could already see the tan difference from the one application so I imagine if you persevere the tan will be glorious as it is with the carrot oil! I do think this would be great on holiday as it has all day to melt in the sun but for me it wasn’t ideal for sun bed use so I’ll be going back to the oil as it seems to absorb a bit better and save this for the sun lounger. Great product just personally for me I wouldn’t use it on the sun beds.

This is the best if you want a tan and lovely moisturised skin. Love it!

Didn't apply as often as recommended and still ended up with a lovely deep tan after just 1 week in Corfu. Only downside it is a bit greasy but very easy to apply and has a nice smell to it.
