It is important to mention that the clasp part does not fit traditional table edges. I have to use mine on a T.V. tray, which is thinner than the dining table that I ususally work at or the folding 6' craft table that is available to me at crafting events. A friend of mine uses a heavy book that she puts on the table and clasps this hoop holder to that. It must be a heavy book so that nothing falls down. Also, it really doesn't work for Q-Snaps, as mentioned. No surprise there. I have multiple projects in hoops or projects that can be converted to hoops should I want to use this Elbesee table clamp. So, I am satisfied.
