Awesome card that I wanted to love!
It is a very fast card....in most areas. And it was great....most of the time.I'm not a huge PC gamer. I have a pretty good computer with an Radeon 7950 video card, i7 4770k processor, 32GB 2400MHz DDR3, and a 1TB SSD. I'm running on 2 27" 1080P monitors. For a hard core gamer, I can't imagine there being a better card out there. For starters, I loved the heat removal the card had. With the GPU core at 100%, the temperature of the card was kept at 180°F by the speed of the fans (it likes it there). It was blasting that hot air out the back of the card and I couldn't even hold my hand in the air blast without it becoming too hot after a bit. The Radeon card I have is not only louder, but also doesn't remove heat as efficiently from the case. When I do play games, which I started doing again after purchasing the Radeon 7950 video card, I use just one monitor. I can bump up the settings pretty high but I couldn't max them out. I also do Folding@home on team 33 with my spare cycles and the Radeon card is excellent for that. My points per day are a bit over 100k total between the CPU & GPU. So I figured, why not go with the GeForce GTX 780 Ti card to increase my folding points per day even more! And I would get to max out the settings on the games I play. The card did allow me to max out all of the graphics settings. In the Heaven Benchmark, it would even max out the settings on both monitors! This is a fast card! But where it failed to please was with Folding@home. This dropped significantly to about 70k. On top of this, I frequently remote desktop to my home computer from work. On the Geforce card, this would crash the Folding@home process using the GPU and I would lose my cycles until I logged in when I got home. This never happened on the Radeon card. So since I wanted to continue with Folding@home and I wanted to continue using Remote Desktop, this card had to be returned. I wasn't willing to sacrifice these two things to have this great gaming card.

My best GPU yet
One of these is just way too awesome. Got my second one on order... can't wait to see the Quad HD glory.Everyone here is pretty dead on. Everything from its power consumption, to the relative noise (or lack thereof) of the fan, this card is just unbelievable. I came from GTX 560 Ti's in SLI, had a chance to play with a GTX 760 for a month, and the performance is too incredible to compare. Relative to the GTX 780, you are getting a GK110 card that has all SMX fully unlocked (one of them is disabled in the 780). It beats the Titan in games, and that is where it really matters. If you are into number crunching, and some supercomputing, the Titan is your go-to card, so the price is still justified. If you game and do photo/video work professionally, or at your leisure, the GK110 is the card to go to.Just for anyone who is curious, an 850 watt PSU is plenty for me to run 16 gb of 2400 mhz RAM, 4770k clocked to 4.4 with vcore 1.25, two GTX 780 Ti, sound card, wifi card, and a whole lotta USB devices. It's been a while since I last built a PC for myself (build plenty for others though), and I am nothing but impressed with NVIDIA's GPUs for this generation. It's a great card for performance and some light future-proofing... At the cost of about $700 and tax... that is hard money to justify, unless you know you will not regret it. Again, the price is probably the only 'con' but at the same time, it is difficult to justify the high price as a con, when this is a company's flagship device we are talking about. If anything, I am just glad it didn't start at a price much closer to the Titan (for how it performs, compared to the GTX 780)... that is just $300 dollars way north of the 780 Ti (or $600 if its SLI).Hard to go wrong with one of these. Thanks Amazon, can't wait for my second card. (Also, got the EVGA SLI bridge... it's a SLI bridge... but it has an LED lol)

Go to Newegg instead, Amazon is a joke.
Ordered 2 of these bad boys and because I did it on a single invoice Amazon will not give me 2 promotional game codes. So I dropped ~$1500 on a single invoice and they are refusing to give me a code worth $15? That is good business right there... Well I already have to order more cards for another rig, and Amazon will not be getting my money again.By the way, the card is amazing. No issues.

I'm running pretty tame games (Wasteland 2) and maximum temps are showing ...
I have this card, and yes it is fast, but it is running WAY too hot. I'm running pretty tame games (Wasteland 2) and maximum temps are showing up at 101C! Ridiculous, I'm afraid this card is going to burn itself up. Think I got a lemon....

Unforseen Issues, did not meet expectations
I have only had it for a few days so far but it has made an impression.Immediately after the setup I noticed that my TV (second monitor) had an overscan issue. I was unhappily surprised that the nvidia driver has one option that does nothing for this. Another unforeseen issue I had was with switching cards around in my case. I upgraded from two 6870s and upon taking those out I moved my wireless card to a better slot. The better slot happened to be right next to my new card. The issue appears to be related to the heat coming from this card. With my wireless card so close to the graphics card, the antennas received a lot of heat that appears to have caused lasting issues. Another issue with this card is the loud fan. Coming from the two 6870s (which I thought got loud) I was quite surprised how loud and hot this became under load. On the performance side (along with my 4770k overclocked ~4GHz, 8GB ram @ 1600, and Creative sound card) I seem to be able to play BF4 at 1440p on medium settings without any sustained dips in fps (no numbers yet, but I can normally see a dip that goes under 60ish). At this point I wish I had waited for the 290x with aftermarket cooler, mainly because of the price and limited improvement in BF4. On a side note I did see a fair jump in performance from some other games (that I rarely play) from my crossfire 6870s. It is hard to find a real review with all the nvidia fanboys

4 Years Ultra...if you bought the extended warranty
Amazing that almost 4 years since I bought this card I still have not found a single game to lag or not be able to run on ultra!I even got an 5 year evga extended warranty for 30 CAD. Without this warranty this card wouldn't have lasted.
