Works like a charm

This item worked very well for me. I seem to produce extra yeast as I've started to reach peri-meni stage and this curbed the issue. Was recommended by my physician.

While the product is good, the venor, Healthy Minded, did not send it in a cold pack, so I returned it. Here's what Pure Encapsulations says and requires when they fill an order: "Due to the heat sensitivity of this product, we will only ship orders containing this product on Mon-Wed. Please be advised that if you place your order on Thursday or Friday it will be held until Monday. All orders are shipped with freezer packs enclosed in 48 hour "cold-pack" insulated boxes." So check your vendor before spending this much money on it. Pure Encapsulations makes great products, but if the vendor doesn't follow the necessary protocol to protect the product, you won't get the benefit you would expect and deserve to get.

First, they were delivered and in my 120 degree mailbox (should have been my front door which was where I periodically checked through the morning) for over 6 hours. I called and they asked me about the time it took to get delivered, I checked & said “2days”. The customer service rep told me that was within the “okay range” and perfectly fine. I had my doubts but okay. I use these for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and with live cultures it works wonders and keeps me from having to administer prescription medications. It’s been a miracle probiotic for over a year now. I’ve been using this for over a week & the results have been awful, this product completely failed when it’s never failed me before (same brand I use, I just never purchased off Amazon before). That tells me that this is almost definitely NOT being stored properly and what is supposed to “refrigerated to maintain culture viability” is most likely stored in a hot Amazon warehouse for who knows how long during the summer months. I’m super disappointed, after spending over $55 on this, I had to spend quite a bit of money on another S Boulardii product (Klaire Labs, if you’re curious). After 2 days on the new S Boulardii product, the symptoms have now began to subside and improve. What’s even worse is that this product is not returnable or refundable unless I spend money mailing it back and filling out some form that will also need to get approved, most likely. I will never buy Pure products again, S Boulardii or other.

I tried every prebiotic, probiotic on the market and it wasn’t until I listened to Grow A New Body audiobook that I learned about S. boullardi and all the healing benefits of it. I quickly ordered 2 bottles and started taking 2 capsules each morning. It was amazing how my stomach didn’t hurt anymore. Just after a few days!! It truly works like no other probiotic on the market. It’s expensive and sometimes hard to get your hands on but when you do you will know why. I highly recommend it for anyone suffering from stomach bloating, diarrhea, etc...it’s the best stuff on the planet!

The Pure Encapsulations brand was recommended to me by a doctor’s office. I was taking these to rebalance myself following two courses of antibiotics. These started working right away. I could almost feel it working. It did arrive in a cold pack and I put it in the refrigerator immediately. This month I am taking another brand as these were not available from Amazon at the time. What I am taking now is fine, it cost a bit less, it doesn’t require refrigeration and it just doesn’t have the same kick as the Pure Encapsulations brand. Now that Pure Encapsulations is back in stock, I have ordered them again!

My daughter has pelvic issues including fungus symptoms and nerve pain. The cultures are negative. This probiotic was recommended by her nurse and has relieved some of those symptoms. It is expensive and we have bought this product as support for her. Also, I recently had diarrhea following a strong antibiotic for a sinus infection. I was worried that it could have been the beginning of one of the antibiotic-related diarrheas: colitis, C-diff. Online this probiotic was listed as effective for antibiotic-related diarrhea so I ordered it for myself. My symptoms did improve. Whether or not the probiotic had anything to do with it, I don't know, but it was a relief to know I was treating it proactively.
