Nice thigh support; No Butt Support; Mild tummy control; runs slightly large, I'd say.
These work fine for my purpose (a thigh-chafe reducer under sundresses/dresses/skirts). I lost a lot of weight and have some loose inner thigh skin--even though I work out and have good thigh muscles otherwise). So, when I wear skirts and dresses, it's nice to have a thigh slimmer option. This thigh slimmer has a slightly rough texture to the fabric. Like triple thickness pantyhose fabric with some roughness. The thigh is not overly binding (but I'm not a pear-shape, I'm more avocado/appley with belly fat being an issue). The waist is comfortable. Ladies with very large posteriors may want to skip this, as I found that it rode a little low in the back and I don't have a round butt. I carry weight in the front and have hips, but not big thighs. This offers NO butt lift. None. If you like the design to lift up the backside, this is not for you. It will flatten you a bit back there. The crotch area is not "cottonized". As I said, it's like triple-thick pantyhose. Thicker than Spanx. There is seaming, so if your ladybits are sensitive to seams, be careful with this style.I have a 35-36 I got an XXL, cause no 3xl is available. Most of my shapewear at this waist size is XXL or XXXL (if I want it looser). I found these snug. Not asphyxiation snug, but snug. I'd say "comfortably snug". They have very little belly control, but some. There is some smoothing. Again, this is LIGHT CONTROL, so don't expect more than that.Their sizing guide seems to be okay if you like a comfortable fit. If you want really snug, go one size, even two sizes down. According to their guide, I should get XXXL, and the XXL fits okay. Seems to run a bit large.I got these in white, as I have some white-background floral sundresses for which I wanted a white thigh slimmer. This will work okay.

Great for Dresses - Plan to buy more than one pair
These are great for light control. I bought them to wear under dresses. My thighs touch when walking. I was wearing underwear and then on top of that, biking type shorts or "petti slips (has legs)". The slips work fine but are a bit "old lady" feeling. These are not. They are great for wearing as just underwear. What a bonus! I bought XXL (I normally wear size 8 panties/size 14-16 clothing) This size works well for me. Also, I like the black over the white. That is a personal preference as I have both colors. There is nothing wrong with the white ones. I just like the way I look in the black. Finally, I often forget that I am wearing these vs. regular panties. I highly recommend themPros:Waist band does NOT rollComfortable - Like underwearThe leg openings have a band. The band does not roll. Nor does it cut into my skin. No thigh bulge.Price is okayThey dry quickly if you have a day where you are sweatingCons:The waist dips slightly in the back - Once I have them on for a few seconds, I forget about it. It could just be my body type. I am pretty straight up and down. This might be for better for someone with a pear shape. It did not keep me from buying more. I have several pair now.

Not bad at all
Alright so shipping was very quick. Can't complain with that at all. Okay so make sure you know your size before you order this. Mainly your lower hip, (like around your butt) and your thigh sizes. I won't lie, I have a big rear and thighs. My inner thighs need some work but rest of my thighs and rear are pretty toned for the most part. I had purchased these for work. I am up on my feet with little down time. I walk an average of 5-12 miles a day at work so my inner thighs would rub together and the skin would be all red and chaffed. So finally broke down and bought these to help with the inner thigh problem. The spanx are alittle thicker than I would have hoped (I live in AZ so you can get warm quick wearing these under your clothes) Other than that, I sized myself correctly so they fit pretty well. And working almost a full day with these on(6 hrs) My thighs are fine, yay! So any woman who has the chaffing problem like myself who walks alot during the day. I would definitely recommend these!

It's a little transparent
I always size up with these as I don't need them for control but for modesty. So was hoping that the transparency issue wouldn't be well an issue. This is probably the best designs modesty shorts I have ever found. They go far enough down the legs so there's no chafing in the hottest weather, they never roll either from the top or the bottom, they have no visible panty lines, they feel great against your skin, and they can be easily washed. I already have two pairs of black and thought it might be good to have a pair in white, I still am going to be able to use them for modesty in place of the slip. But not if they're going to be visible due to their transparency issue. These are not the cheapest shorts you can find but if you're looking for the best ones out there not just so-so I would pick these up.

Did exactly what I wanted it to.
I got this because I heard it was a good defense if one wants to wear a skirt without worry of chub rub. (Especially if one wants to go on long walks.) My test drive involved a lot of walking and hiking in a skirt, something that before left my thighs burning for days.It worked absolutely perfectly. Even better, I felt more confident in the skirt: because its something between underwear and shorts, it felt less revealing. It DID slide down on my stomach, but that's not at all unusual for me (I'm overweight and of the build where it's all in my belly.) and I don't think it was a problem with the design, but with my body size.If you're getting this for something nice to wear with skirts, whether you have chub rub or not, I recommend it!
