It was quite disappointing in fact that both book 1 and 2, given the number of pages in each book, were very very basic. I had purchased other books from amazon on conversational Arabic and they were very good. These 2 books however are very basic indeed. So after having gone thru them (flicked) gave them away to someone who is starting out in Arabic just as a vocab resource. I am only doing this review so some one else does not waist their money like I did. Given the other good books on this topic that are around these 2 books are a scam

Took Arabic this real in school, we used this book and I think it is one of the best books for beginners to learn Arabic from.

The book is good. I initially did it with a private teacher and recently went back to review on my own with the DVD and learned the DVD, which was never taken out of the sleeve, doesn't work.

Please help QUICKLY. I am using this book for a college course and absolutely, positively, have to have the accompanying CD. The book is absolutely useless without being able to hear the language spoken.

Bought 4 copies in September, one copy is defective with missing pages, around Unit 9. We run courses but the learner has only just reached the affected pages in his study. It would be helpful if a replacement copy can be arranged.

El producto llegó Antes de tiempo y es excelente el producto, sin embargo, si bien promociona la venda de un libro con material audiovisual, el pedido no incluye dicho material, por lo que considero deben modificar la descripción del producto.

El libro no está mal, el problema es que trae muchos ejercicios y no viene ningún apartado con las respuestas y tampoco he visto que venden aparte un libro con dichas respuestas así que no hay manera de saber si estás haciendo bien o mal los ejercicios, por lo cual es un libro inútil.

Corso davvero ben fatto, mi piacciono tutta la serie di esercizi di ascolto (che di solito sono sempre carenti in un libro di arabo) che aiutano lo studente a memorizzare anche le singole lettere all'interno di una parola. Il libro è dinamico, comunicativo e ricco di esercizi di vario genere per sviluppare e migliorare l'apprendimento dell'arabo in tutte e quattro le abilità. Inoltre, a dispetto di tutti i corsi di lingua pubblicato in Italia, questo libro ti permette di apprendere in modo graduale così da poter assimilare tutto al 100%. L'unico elemento contro è che è fruibile solo con l'aiuto dell'insegnante in quanto l'inglese è usato in minima parte per le consegne degli esercizi e inoltre non vi è nessuna spiegazione relativamente alle regole di grammatica.
