I think good about paper models is that can reproduce details that can not be reproduced with plastic models.Also, since the paint has been dyed in advance, I won't have to worry about handling or smelling the paint.However, the material is easily distorted, so assembly requires patience and subsequent maintenance.

The booklet was shrink wrapped so tightly that the sheets of paper were bent and deformed, This will make assembling the model more difficult as I will have to flatten out the paper before I can even start cutting out the parts.The quality of the printing looks great, and there are instructions in English.Edit: I am changing my rating from 3 to 4 stars, after leaving the booklet under some heavy weights for a few days the distortion of the paper was fixed. It was just warped, not creased, so the paper does flatten back out fairly well.

Orel kits are excellent!Their level of detail and quality are amazing, especially considering the scale.This kit is full hull with plank on bulkhead construction.The instructions come in Russian, English, Polish and German.There are excellent diagrams to help with construction.Most of the parts are printed on paper for lamination onto card.Some are printed on card and are ready for use.I am about 200 hours into this build and about a third done.I am thoroughly enjoying it and it is going together well.I will have to say that this model is geared towards advanced builders.If you do not have a high tolerance for ambiguity and are not used to studying multiple drawings and sources, this kit will present a significant challenge for you.However, as stated earlier, this model is going well for me.It has been a learning curve, but this model has been fun so far!
