This storage box is quite nice. It holds 6 collapsible lawn chairs and tow large cushions from our patio furniture. This is exactly the capacity I was looking for to avoid constant trips it and out of the house to retrieve or store the items. The box was easy to set up and remarkably sturdy. About 5 minutes to unpack, peruse the instructions, and verify that the pieces were all there. Then, about 15 minutes to assemble. I did it single handed and needed no assistance. I loaded it up and sat on the top; I scrunched around and the box did not flex or move, even thought I weigh in at a tad over 215 pounds (approximately 98 kg). It looks good and is a passably good match to the metal cladding on my home. Even my wife, a degreed fashion merchandising specialist, was quite happy with the appearance. Overall, I am quite impressed with how well it functions. I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a small storage box that is sturdy and roomy.

I ordered three of these Keter outdoor storage boxes and wanted to buy from a company with a good reputation for quality and the box had to be waterproof and not allow water into the box. I bought the 150 gallon box which is 61" long. IMO they are "easy" to assemble if you are handy and have no difficulty assembling large pieces such as this. It was so frustrating attempting to assemble the first box I ended up hiring an experienced handyman who put all three of the 150 gallon boxes together in 1 hour at a very reasonable cost. I have a larger storage box ordered and plan to have the same handyman assemble it since he CAN do the job in 15--20 minutes. The instructions for assembling one of these storage boxes shows the steps but no text to explain what you are supposed to do in words rather than mere drawings. Keter has a very good reputation for quality and durability but in direct sunlight for years pictures in reviews show some fading of the darker colored boxes. An advantage of these boxes is that they are very versatile---you can sit on them for extra seating, use them as a table, store things you don't have room for in your house, store outdoor sports equipment and cushions plus you can put a strong padlock on the front to keep the lid from opening in strong winds, keep children from climbing into the box and to deter theft. One review I read before buying the box said if the box is in direct sun the top gets hot and suggested you put a waterproof cushion on top for sitting on the box----I bought a 59" waterproof outdoor cushion for the top. I would have preferred to have the location for the padlock to be on a side or the back rather than the front to hide the padlock from view. Two or three people can sit on the top, you can stand on it, it is very stable and made well. I highly recommend this storage box, it is a good value for the price. NOTE: If you decide to hire an experienced handyman to assemble the box be aware that the cost to hire someone varies considerately---three people responded to my ad---one wanted $80 each; one would do it for $60 each and the one I hired charged me $75 ($25 each) to put all three together.

I bought this to move my birdseed out of my Florida room due to rodent incursions. It easily holds several 40 lb. bags of birdseed, and is tall enough to hold 5-gallon buckets with room to spare. The bottom has legs that keep this box about an inch off the ground. It's gone through some wicked storms with zero leakage. That said, I can see gaps in the bottom corners, so it won't be waterproof in standing water of a couple inches or more. Very happy with this purchase. Good value, it's durable, easy to assemble (I had a senior moment and missed a step - VERY difficult to correct, so pay attention to the instructions!), and has tons of room. If I need more outdoor storage, I wouldn't hesitate to get another one!

We bought this Keter deck box to tame the wild collection of outdoor odds and ends that mysteriously accumulate on our patio—think hose attachments, random sports gear, and whatever my kid decides belongs outside that week. Right out of the box, I was impressed. The quality feels solid, and once assembled, the structure holds its own—even with some weather and wear. Speaking of assembly, it was refreshingly simple. Everything was labeled clearly, and the whole thing came together in under 30 minutes without any marital disputes (a miracle in itself). The size is just right—big enough to store a good amount of stuff, but not so bulky that it eats up your whole deck. Functionally, it opens and closes smoothly and looks pretty sleek too. My only gripes? The latch where you’d attach a lock feels a bit like the weak link in an otherwise tough setup. It wiggles more than I’d like, and I wouldn’t trust it to stand up to a determined raccoon, let alone a thief. I also wish the hydraulics were a bit stronger and the door wouldn’t slam shut on its way down. That said, it’s perfect for keeping things tidy and protected from the elements—not necessarily Fort Knox-level security. All in all, a great buy for organizing outdoor chaos. Just don’t count on it to guard the crown jewels.

Wow! I downsized to a smaller home with no basement for storage. I thought I would need an unsightly shed... This is fantastic. Holds all my summer outdoor tools, large table umbrella, cushions for four chairs and two larger cushions for lounge chairs, a 50' hose, garden decorations and still has room for more!!!! Quality is good, heavy weight and solid and easy for two people to put together. It also makes a perfect seating bench....great purchase.

This is an excellent storage box! I actually ended up getting three of them. The first one arrived damaged due to shipping, but thanks to Amazon, the exchange process was quick and easy. The second unit arrived in perfect condition and was assembled within minutes. Because my cat won’t stop peeing on my Trans Am seats, I moved this box to my basement and was able to fit both front bucket seats plus the full split rear bench inside. I was so impressed that I immediately purchased another one for my outdoor patio. When the third unit arrived, I assembled it and placed it beside my deck, where it now holds cushions and folding chairs. The lid closes securely, and it requires less space away from my deck than my other outdoor box with flimsy plastic hinges. This storage box is very sturdy, well-designed, and I expect to get many years of use out of it.

This is an awesome outdoor storage box! The item arrived in perfect condition, packed very secure. We unpacked it and it took about 15 minutes to put together. It was very easy and had good instructions. The look of this box is great. Ours is a brown wood look that matched our brown patio furniture perfectly and really compliments the look of our patio. We got it primarily to hold cushions from some of our outdoor furniture and swing and there is plenty of room. It seems bigger than what was described. It will also double as extra seating when needed. There is room for two or maybe three people to sit on the lid and it is designed sturdy enough for that. Also happy with the chock assisted lid. It makes opening and closing it very easy. Very happy with this purchase!

Great. Sturdy. Easy to assemble. Instructions easy to understand. They said 2 people to assemble. However I am 5'3" and was able to do it by myself with no issues. Good value.
