Does what it’s supposed to.
Set up was easy. I elevated to window height to shorten the distance that the hose needed to be stretched out, because there is a lot of heat in the air that it’s blowing as exhaust. So the shorter the hose the less of a heat surface. I love that I can schedule it to turn on and off when I’m away from home and I can control that from my phone at any time. I can also see what the temp is in the room that the unit is in. Keep in mind this unit is not designed to cool down a room that is already at 90+ degrees. It works best To keep the temperature stable. If you are trying to cool down a room that is already 90+ degrees, that is not what this is made for and you will be sadly disappointed. I keep the unit set at 62° and I usually turn it on when the room that it is in is between that and 65. This room tends to collect a whole lot of heat to keep the temperature stable. I am super pleased with that.

Amazing product compared to other units
I did the cardinal sin and ordered this without reading the reviews. Then it was like oh s*** what did I get myself into? A little background, this will be the 3rd portable a/c in as many years. Both old ones 8,000 and 10,000 btu unit. Both as loud as an airplane and couldn't keep my 12x12 vaulted ceiling room cool. So I thought, one more time, but this time I'll go for a 14,000 btu beast. The rollicool was a great price point and advertised wireless and alexa. So I dove in and got it. When it arrived, it was a little larger than expected but other than that pretty standard. I have experience setting these up, so no issues there. Turned it on and it was so quiet... Too quiet. Must be something wrong? It cycled on the a/c with almost no noticeable volume increase. Wow! A plus as all my others were too loud. It immediately started cooling the room. Not just blowing cold air, but the temperature went down in the middle of the afternoon, sun beating through the window. Before I knew it, the temperature was at 74. And it stayed there. 2 days now of extreme heat and this unit has worked wonders. I truly am floored. I wasn't expecting it to work this well under any circumstances but am truly amazed at how it has performed. Absolutely no issues that others have commented on. Wireless and alexa setup were simple and easy and worked on the first try.

Future buyers beware, Cheap manufacturing, doesn’t work, waste of money
I was going to leave it alone and not write A review because Amazon refunded the device and the agent was nice enough to call me down when I was laying them out because of my frustrations. But future buyers need to know. Firstly, the device came more than a month late although it said it was in stock and ready to ship. I even bought the extended warranty, however all Amazon originally wanted to do was return the device rather than even replace it. Furthermore, after the device finally arrived, thankfully I decided to test it. I say this because I bought another air conditioner from a different company after this device didn’t seem like it was to be delivered. After setting up the device it seem to work properly however it didn’t seem to cool The room equivalent to its description and BTU size. Thus, I turned off the device to let it relax and possibly defrost if that were to be the issue. After a couple of days I decided to grab the remote and see if that would help me control the device better. I noticed on the remote that only half of the screen worked and the other side did not show any numbers or indications, As shown in the pictures. Then, I hit the swing function button and The device seem to turn off the compressor and sort of restart or reset the temperature to factory. But, the flaps never swung. Furthermore I noted that they were not closing when I turned off the device. After manually closing the flaps they did open when I turn back on the device but after opening it seems like they were disconnected from the swing function and would no longer close or swing. The icing on the top came when I moved the device to see if there was something wrong with the filters or anything that I could troubleshoot on the back of the device. Not only did I find nothing that would help, I found a large puddle on the floor. No matter how much I would tighten the bottom outlet, there would always seem to be some leakage on the floor. Although the device looks very nice and seems like it comes with everything I would want out of an AC, it was a piece of crap from the beginning. I never even got a chance to test out the Wi-Fi function because I was too frustrated with the fact that the device didn’t seem to function as described or advertised. Furthermore, even outside of the advertisements, The device is on function buttons do not work properly. At best this is a fan that will occasionally cool but will not make an area cold. Which is ironic because on the box it arrived in it said it could be use for outdoor tents. It could barely cool a 100 square-foot room. Although I have been surprised from time to time at cheaply made devices in the past, this is one that I would worry about all that are made like it or even from this company. Thanks Amazon for finding my money, and I advise anyone who is thinking about purchasing this device to not do it to their self. All it will provide is headache, frustration, and inevitably a return/refund.
