These front hood struts were surprisingly easy to install on an ES350. They fit perfectly and provide excellent support for the hood. The strength feels substantial, and I haven't encountered any issues so far. The installation process was smoother than expected, and I was able to complete the job quickly. I'm very pleased with the value for the price. Highly recommended for anyone needing to replace their front hood struts.

Got value out of it for a very reasonable price.
My dad’s car hood strut was old and had been falling and required support to keep the hood up. Resorted to buying this and was really easy to install and use. Functional and holds the hood pretty well. Functional as well and closes properly when lowered. Overall great buy.

Easy to install and worked as expected.
I had to replace my car’s hood struts. One of them had leaked and was no longer holding up. Before I started I would have wished I had a stick to hold up the hood or someone help me. I made the mistake to think I could hold up the hood while I changed the struts. I saw a mechanic once use lock pliers to hold up the hood. The hood is a not heavier than anticipated. This made it more difficult to change due to my lack of planning. Other than that it was straight forward changing. I do remember having to use some force but that’s because I didn’t plan correctly and I was holding up the hood with one hand and trying to change out the strut. Plan correctly and it should be easier. I would recommend this product.

Worked perfectly on my lexus es250 2014

Use a stick or something similar to hold the hood before removing the old struts. Pull the two small metal tabs halfway using a flat screwdriver, insert in the strut mechanism then push the tabs all the way to secure the struts. It’s a 5 minute job. These struts work well on my 2007 Lexus ES350 and are a bit beefier than the OEM ones, which is a good thing.
