An incredible TV experience
I recently purchased the LG Series 9 65” Nano 4 K smart TV, and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. It was delivered very quickly with my Prime account, well packed without any damage. I found it very easy to set up as the set prompts you alone the way. I found the picture quality beyond my expectations!! The colors are bright, and vibrant. I bought a Bose sound bar to use with this TV, but really didn’t need it since the TV Dolby sound system is outstanding. The unit has plenty of outputs including an Optical out for a sound bar. The bottom line is, I can’t wait to turn it on, and watch because the picture, and sound are nothing short of amazing! I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Lbrrt

Great quality, only a few minor criticisms
This TV gas been amazing. Great image quality, love the remote. The software is fast and responsive. I just wish it supported Chromecast because I prefer the Google photo app over the LG app. Not a big deal though. Would also be nice if the TV didn't expect cable or OTA channels, I only use this for streaming so it always shows a big ugly message about no channels being found which is exactly what I expect and want, but there's no way to turn off this message which prevents the screensaver from being able to just show the nice screensaver picture by itself. Aside from those minor issues the TV has been fantastic.

Good purchase.
The OS is terrible. Really clunky and hard to figure out and navigate. But the TV itself is great. Beautiful picture and deep dark blacks. There’s a cursor feature to the “magic” remote that takes some getting used to and you really have to play around the OS to find hidden settings. Speakers work surprisingly well.

Awful, horrible, ugly picture. BUY THE OLED instead!!!
JANUARY 10th, 2021 UPDATE: And we’ve got a dead pixel now. Fantastic. I had a mid tier Vizio 55” 1080p TV that never got a dead pixel. Ten years of ownership, two moves. Had this less than a year, one move (in original box) and a dead pixel appears, DEAD CENTER of the screen. Avoid LG non-OLED at all costs. **************************** After extensive research, I decided on this TV from LG. After having a fully calibrated 2K HDTV for the last decade, I decided it was time to jump into 4K UHD/HDR. Cannot emphasize how disappointed I am. I use this primarily with an Apple TV 4k and a Panasonic 4k BD player. Seeing the attached pictures, even after full calibration, the backlight is completely uneven, blotchy, and looks so bad that my wife even cared to comment on how bad it looked, followed by the dreaded question asked in angst, “HOW much did you pay for this thing????” Not “we”, but “you”. That is real bad news folks in case you’re not married. 😳 But she’s right. My decade old 1080P TV, also fully calibrated, has zero issues like this. Example, in any dark scene, the screen appears significantly brighter in the same areas of the screen face, independently of the material being shown. This indicates an issue with the screen itself. So much for HDR, because in anything but a very bright room, this aspect (defect) dominates what you see on screen. I’ll divulge that the TV that beat it so handily was a ten tear old VIZIO. And multiple $500-$700 models in Costco, from random brands, beat it as well. With black levels being so off, that I actually couldn’t get a true calibration of the black levels. This is what you would expect from a $99 Westinghouse you bought from Walmart five years ago. Not from one of the two leading brands of TVs on planet earth. I should have bought the OLED. And now I’m stuck with this hunk of garbage, wishing every time that I turn it on that lightning will somehow show up to give it a mercy k1ll just to put it out of its misery. So disappointing from an otherwise stellar brand. Oh and no the TV wasn’t damaged in shipping. Box was in perfect shape and it was gently and professionally placed on its mount. All screws were tightened to the proper in-lb spec and we’re not over tightened. So, I just blew $1200 and advise anybody reading this to skip this model. What a shame. I’d get a refund and buy the OLED if I could. $400 at Walmart gets you a better picture. I’m feeling sick just typing these words... Note: the remote and OS are actually quite good and the sound from the speakers is actually VERY good for coming from such a slim device. Nipping at the heels of some cheaper soundbars for voice quality at low to moderate volumes. Impressive.

This is a great TV!
Replacing a TV that was about 10-11 years old, and I am floored by how amazing this LG is! Beautiful picture; easy to use; lots of features. A tremendous value!

Great TV
Great product, picture looks good, isn't impacted by glare and has a lot of future proof features. Airplay 2.0 built in is perfect. LGs smart apps has Disney+ along with other streaming apps. For the ones it doesn't just use Airplay and you're all set.

Not good in a dim or dark environment.
If you are looking for a TV with good black levels that will work well in a dimly-lit environment, then this isn't it. The black levels on this TV are awful. The full array dimming feature doesn't work well, so despite the terrible black uniformity the TV looks better with the feature turned off entirely. Dark colors look awful, with very noticeable white patches in the corners of what should be a solid black screen (and other ghosting throughout the image as well). That said, if you are only going to be using this TV in a well-lit environment, then it can do a pretty good job with that, and offers a really crisp, clear picture with beautiful vibrant colors. Some issues can still be noticed in the corners of the picture even in a well lit environment though, but only if you're looking for them. Do not buy if you want good black levels, or watch the TV in a dimly lit environment.

Beautiful picture. Works perfect with my PC
I just bought a Samsung and it gave me so much trouble, I had to call Amazon to replace it. It would not even play DVD's. The TV kept crashing in all sorts of modes. Would not recognize my PC and Samsung could not understand what I was telling them it was doing. I made sure to get a different brand replacement. My New LG works perfect with my PC now. Amazing picture and the remote is so much better. It takes some getting used to since I have always bought Samsung, but it is well worth the learning curve. I think I will be staying with LG from now on.
