Review: Works for a Wellsaw Model 404 too! - It fit perfectly in my Wellsaw model 404, I did have to get longer 8-32 screws and washers, the old C-H (Cutler Hammer Eaton) trigger had a thinner profile that used short screws. I wrapped the contacts just to make sure the power can't short to the metal handle on the saw, there was some clearance, but I wanted to make sure. Also I replace the cord (Skil Wormdrive Cord Ass Repl) so I hopefully don't have to mess with it for long time. I added crimp on thin ring connectors that I soldered on to insure that the vibration wont shake them loose, make sure you get the thin ring style the thicker ones wont fit on this switch. This is switch is designed for a specific location on the Skil saw handle.
