Fits nicely at the bottom of a HD orange bucket and matches the color. Functions as expected by filtering dirt and grit out of water to protect your car's finish when washing. Seems sturdy and was a good price when I bought it.

Using this in a 5 gallon bucket purchased from Runnings - much like the buckets you can get from Home Depot, Menards, Lowes, etc. It sits on the bottom of the bucket and has a pump sitting on top of it so the pump isn't riding right on the bottom of the bucket. It was priced acceptably when I purchased it and does its job perfectly, so it is a five star product. I will buy again if I need another one.

It's sturdy, it does the job, and I was surprised at how relatively cheap it was. I bought a similar product ten years ago that cost quite a bit more.

There’s many out there. But I went with the original. It’s not completely necessary for an older Civic. I'm not a detailer with fancy cars. However with this and high-quality microfiber Wash Mitts, it makes it more interesting when I hand wash the car. It encourages me to wash the car by hand once in a while better than a car wash. And especially prior to waxing. It does have a nice feel to it when you rub the microfiber mitt against it. It doesn’t fit the classic orange Home Depot 5 gallon bucket all the way down. But it’s close. I think the most important thing to do is a really good pre-rinse of the car. I tried the two bucket method. The soapy water without the Grit Guard, the rinse bucket with. There wasn’t much dirty water in my bucket regardless. How well it works is debatable. The bottom line it’s interesting and enjoyable to use. It's not too pricey.

Nice to have in the bottom of the wash bucket to keep brushes or mits off the bottom and out of any dirt.
