Amazon Brand – Rivet Goodwin Modern Sofa Couch, 88.6"W, Charcoal Grey

I'm not sure if people leaving negative reviews received lemons or just have unreasonably high expectations for a sofa.At $1000, this sectional is awesome. It's sturdy and spacious with deep seats and soft fabric. The light grey is a cold tone, so it nicely offsets our (unfortunately) rental-beige walls.The legs were securely wrapped in buddle wrap inside the zipper compartment. They were in perfect condition and included soft pads to protect our wood floors. The sectional comes with a central support made from plastic. It isn't visible unless you're looking for something under the sofa, and it will keep the sofa from sagging over time.Admittedly, we just received the sofa today, so things could always take a turn for the worst. I will update if anything goes sideways, but first impressions are extremely positive.The seats are slightly firmer than we'd like, but that's because they need to be broken in. I stood on the sectional and paced across the seats to soften them a little. The sofa didn't make a sound the whole time. I'm 105 pounds, so your mileage may vary. My 160 pound boyfriend flopped onto the chaise with similar results. If a squeak develops, I will update my review.The seat and back cushions are all reversible! If the fabric wears our on one side, you can flip the cushion and it's good as new.The sofa body (minus the chaise ottoman) is one piece (not modular), so narrow doorways will be difficult to navigate.The two delivery men were friendly and helpful. They chatted with us while assembling the furniture, let us inspect the sectional for defects, and took away all of the packing. It was a top notch job.Small update:If your cat likes to sharpen his claws on upholstery, this may not be the couch for you. One of our cats has pulled threads in one or two places while playing. We're teaching him that this isn't okay, but older cats may be harder to dissuade. The pulls are very minor, but aggressive scratchers will shred this couch very quickly.

I was initially hesitant to order furniture from an online retailer given I wouldn’t have the luxury of viewing or sitting on the sofa prior to purchase, but after a bit of research on Amazon’s two furniture brands I decided I’d take a leap of faith and I’d give it a try.I originally had my heart set on the Stone and Beam overstuffed sofa, but happened upon this Rivet piece and couldn’t pass it up at a price point of less than $400. Worst come to worst I can send it back within 30 days for a full refund.We ordered the sofa on a Friday evening and it was delivered the following Monday at the scheduled time. The delivery service called us 15 minutes prior to arrival, and had us sign for the sofa once they arrived. They carried the sofa up three flights of stairs to my third story flat and dropped the sofa off in my living room. Unboxing and assembling the sofa took around 15 minutes. The legs come zipped in the undercarriage of the sofa. Pull em out and plug em in and you’re good to go.The sofa is extremely attractive and seems to be reasonably well built. The fabric is soft, but the cushions are a little on the firmer side, though I’m sure they’ll break in with regular use. You’ll definitely need throw pillows for the arms however.All in all, its an awesome sofa at its price point. You’ll be hard pressed to find better value in a sofa.

Got the delivery service offered - think it was $20 - totally worth it (especially since live on top floor...) They came dropped it off. Note: they did nt take it out of the box or set it up - just dropped off in living room where it was intended to go. I opened the box and the couch was wrapped nicely but not obnoxiously. Be careful as to not open with a knife or anything too sharp as the cushions are right front and center and can definitely run the risk of being sliced if not careful. Took a moment to realize the legs of the couch are zipped in the bottom area. Just screwed on the 5 legs and put the couch upright and done. Looks fantastic - and the cushion material is SOFt. WHen sitting on it the first few times it is a little bit stiff but seems to give a bit over a few days... overall great classic piece.

First off, this couch is bitchin'. Pardon my language but, this couch exceeds my expectations when it comes to ordering furniture off of Amazon. I have been looking for about 2 months now for a sectional online (in all corners of the internet) and I could not find one that I was interested in.I finally just got so annoyed with myself for not deciding, that I jumped the gun on this couch. It is durable, SUPER easy to put together, comfy, and firm (but not too firm, I am a total couch potato and I have high standards when it comes to napping). My favorite part of the couch are the back cushions. Most sectionals that I viewed had low backs and reviews where customers mentioned that part of their back was hitting the wall because the couch was too low.I am 5'5 and fit comfortably on this couch. My boyfriend also shares it with me as well and there is plenty of room for both of us and our Yorkie. If I had 5 houses, I would buy this couch for all of them.

We visited 10 furniture stores and searched all the major home/furniture websites looking for a sofa around 90"x 36" which we learned was impossible to find. We could custom order something for $2k or more, and wait until January to get it. haha, NO THANKS.I was frustrated, and about to give up until I thought I should look on Amazon-and boom, found this. The reviews were quite positive so I decided buy one and crossed my fingers.It was delivered this morning and it is EXACTLY what we were looking for! The seat cushions are firm but still comfortable, the fabric is quality and not that cheap looking/shiny stuff. It's a nice sofa for a great price. Well done Amazon, thank you.
