As with all the Fischer fixings they are a little more expensive but so worth it in my opinion, they are so much better than a standard plug and work well in both solid and plaster boards walls. Much firmer fixing than any of the others I have tried and there have been many.

Brilliant plugs work a treat in thermally blocks

Used to hang a heavy piece of wall art (around 8 or 9kg) on pretty precarious plasterboard. I put two in and screwed the hanger plate into them both, then used a wire hanger on the picture frame. It's really sturdy and I'm very happy with the solution.

Work well on normal plasterboard. Used to fit fairly heavy display shelf and are easy to use and install

I WAS FITTING SOME SHELVING TO SUPPORT HEAVY BOXES. THESE ARE VERY GOOD, BUT I FOUND THAT IF YOU DRILL THE HOLE AT THE DIAMETER RECOMMENDED, THE EXPANSION PROVIDED BY THE SUPPLIED SCREW WAS NOT ENOUGH TO SECURE THE FIXING INTO THE WALL. I BELIEVE THAT THIS WAS DUE TO THE MATERIAL I WAS DRILLING INTO, AND I DRILLED A PILOT LARGE ENOUGH TO ACCEPT THE NOSE OF THE PLUG THEN DRILLED A SECOND HOLE (THE RECOMMENDED SIZE) AT A LESSER DEPTH, FOR THE MAIN BODY OF THE PLUG - RESULT BRILLIANT
