I don't really trust it's coating so I added lubrication to the threads for the future replacement if necessary. I could replace this part 10 times before the oem price becomes cheaper. Im not sure if I would use this on a track car since It may be innacurate at detecting actual knock which can either cause damage or loose out on ignition timing but won't be a problem for normal driving.
