The principle is simple, strong metal points hold cartridges securely in the loader until you release them into the revolver with a turn of the speed loader knob. Review: Armscor / Rock Island Armory M200 4" barrel revolver - The HKS 10-A Revolver Speedloader works good enough for the Armscor / Rock Island Armory M200 4" barrel revolver. Note that it is not a perfect fit for the M200, but this particular speedloader does truly work with the M200. Let me explain. I have included several photographs with this review. If you notice in one of my photos, the M200 cylinder does not swing out far enough to clear the revolver's frame like how many other revolvers do. I assure you that it will be fine, it's just not perfect. When you attempt to load the M200 using this speedloader, you will not be able to insert the cartridges all the way like how you can with other revolvers. If you look at another photo that I uploaded, I tried to demonstrate how far you can insert the cartridges and you should see that the cartridges don't insert all the way into the M200's cylinder while you attempt to load the M200 with this speedloader. Once you get to this point, all you have to do is just turn the speedloader's knob clockwise, let gravity work for you, and the cartridges should fall into the M200's cylinder. As I said, it is not perfect, but it works. Originally, I bought only one of these speedloaders to try out first to see if it will function well enough to load my M200. Once I confirmed that the HKS 10-A does work for my M200, I bought a couple more and also four Bianchi Speed Strips. Obviously, the speedloader is the fastest way to load a revolver, but the speed strips are flat and not bulky to fit inside one's pocket and they still load a revolver faster compared to manually inserting cartridges with your fingers. I would say the quality of the HKS speedloaders are pretty good and I expect them to last a long time.

**Q: Is the 10-a the best model for an eaa windicator .357/.38?  i do not see it on any of their charts.**
A: Just bought one and works perfectly....the EAA Windicator is my personal snubby favorite and this speed loader works flawlessly for this weapon....

**Q: Will these work for a rock island model 200?**
A: It will work, but it takes some getting used to due to the extra bulk of the m200's grip. When you release you have to pull slightly to the left to clear the grip. It takes some practice but it's not difficult to work out, even if you're not already familiar with quickloaders - I wasn't.

**Q: Will this fit the s&w .38 spl plus p airlight? it's the model 638**
A: The Model 638 is a J-Frame .38 Special.  This is the same frame as the S&W Model 36 Chief's Special.  The correct HKS speedloader for the Model 638 is the 36-A.

**Q: Does it work with hfc shells?**
A: Looking at the hfc shells......there's a chance because the speedloader locks onto the shell base.......I'd try it.
