Review: Great for starting off - This is a great Irish bouzouki to start off with. I'm a guitar player with a fairly good know;edge of Irish trad so it has been easy to get into playing this. the sound is so good. It was all that I had imagined it would be. Great resonance and lovely droney tone. A few of the strings are rattling a bit so if you are a super perfectionist maybe this is not for you. However they are things which could easily be fixed but as it is, it is fine for me. Maybe if I was going to play gigs I would sort them but playing at home they don't really bother me at all. I saw some people complaing about the action but for me it is low and lovely to play and negotiate. I wouild definitely buy another instrument from Hora in the future if I get into the bouzouki even more. ## Features - Irish Bouzouki made by Hora Romania - Solid spruce top, flat solid maple back, maple neck and sides - 8 Strings, 23 Frets, Adjustable Truss Rod, Glossy Finish - Nut Width: 35 mm, Width at 12th Fret: 44 mm, Scale length: 660 mm, Body Depth: 77 mm, Body Width: 310 mm, Length: 950 mm, Weight: 1.40 kg (approx) - High quality bouzouki instrument at affordable price - 12 Month Guarantee ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01IICI09O | | Back Material Type | Maple | | Back material type | Maple | | Best Sellers Rank | 26,368 in Musical Instruments & DJ ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments & DJ ) 1,475 in String Instruments (Musical Instruments & DJ) | | Brand | HORA | | Brand Name | HORA | | Colour | Yellow | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 1 Review | | Finish Type | Glossy Finish,Metal | | Instrument | Bouzouki | | Item Weight | 15 kg | | Manufacturer | HORA | | Model Number | M-1089 | | Number of Strings | 8 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Size | 4/4 | | String Material Type | Nickel | | String material type | Nickel | | Top Material Type | Maple,Solid Spruce | | Top material type | Maple,Solid Spruce | ## Product Details - **Back material type:** Maple - **Brand:** HORA - **Colour:** Yellow - **Finish type:** Glossy Finish,Metal - **Instrument:** Bouzouki - **Item weight:** 15 kg - **Operation mode:** Manual - **Size:** 4/4 - **String material type:** Nickel - **Top material type:** Maple,Solid Spruce ## Images ![IRISH BOUZOUKI - Hora (M1089) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710bPwmx6CL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for starting off *by R***B on 29 February 2020* This is a great Irish bouzouki to start off with.
