Vitamin C Serum for Face 20% with Hyaluronic Acid and Ferulic Acid, Anti Aging Collagen Booster, Natural Organic Skin Care for Acne Scars, Wrinkles, Fades Dark, Age Spot, Sun Damage

This is the second time I have purchased this product. I generally make my own nightly oil (after a very expensive purchase of Eminence Organics Citrus & Kale Potent C+E Serum). I didn't want to spend that much money again so I researched and created my own serum. When I tried to find Vitamin C, however, I discovered Petunia's Vitamin C Serum which had the highest percentage of Vit C and the most reasonable price. I used it in my own combination. But this time I wanted to see how it worked all on its own. It is very non-oily and a very mild scent. I have been using Dr Haushka Products for 35 years and always believed that you were not supposed to use anything at night. Now I have learned that only applies to moisturizers. I wish I'd had Petunia's products years ago. Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals, so it can aid in your skin's natural regeneration process, which helps your body repair damaged skin cells. It works magic! Because it's highly acidic, it accelerates the production of collagen and elastin, to help keep skin plump and firm, also helps prevent premature aging of the skin. It contains a property that inhibits your skin's melanin production, which is what causes skin discoloration like dark spots and hyperpigmentation. It's a spectacular brightening agent that works to fade brown spots. And that is only one ingredient! I will stop here but there are even more reasons to look at the ingredients in this product and how they work for you.

Amongst the Vitamin-C serum, you will probably like this one the best. General product feel and handling: I used to get the Csi version (Vit-C only) but the Csi is 12% quoted while the Petunia (this product) is 20% rated for about the same price (while discounted). Can't go wrong with that. Beyond the cost comparison, the product also contains Hyaluronic Acid and other goodies for your skin and has a slight pleasant refreshing citrus/orange scent. When you apply the serum, there is a smoothness to it - here again, other serum felt "oily" while this one does not have that stickiness feel but is rapidly absorbed by your skin. Effectiveness: First off, I have to let you all know that I do not rely on one product only but usually apply this product for the first days of the week (Monday to Wednesday) and other by the second 1/2. This being said I am impressed by this product. In combination with the product cycles I use, it works well and has visible effect. Fine line wrinkles are definitely smoothed and your skin with feel fresh and firm. The company may send you Email for the first month after a first purchase (asking to rate and providing tips) - amongst the recommendations the use of a skin moisturizer as Vit-C may dry your skin a little. In my experience, I do not notice the dryness (but did with the Csi product). I attribute this to the balance of several ingredient working together to give you a more healthy overall skin. In short, if you are looking to try a Vit-C serum, this is the one to try ... if it works for you, you will be hooked (and if it does not, I seriously doubt other brand will do better).

Decent vitamin c serum - I can tell that it is working because the hyperpigmentation from my breakouts is fading faster than usual (often by peeling at a faster rate than normal). At first I thought the product was defective because it had an oily residue on the dropper and a very pungent smell (definitely unpleasant). The smell does linger for a few minutes but since my moisturizer has a strong fragrance it cuts the smell and I don’t smell it afterwards. The color of the serum is a cloudy pale yellow/orange. Keep the box and store it inside the box when not in use because vitamin c can become unstable in sunlight. Make sure to use sunscreen daily when using this product because it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Not sure I would buy again, but I will continue to use the product since it is effective.

Excelente producto

I like this prouct! So far this product is treating me well. I do see positive changes in my skin. I am 53 black female: skin starting to droop a little and dark/age spots started to appear. I think I can see dark spots getting lighter, Im positive my skin is brighter and firmer. I've use 1month now and still on first bottles. I use vit c serum,hyaluronic acid, & anti aging skin clearing serum. I like them all thus far. Only reason not a 5 star with me yet, is bc i want to finish bottles. But what is a 5 star already is the integrity& honesty of this company. I would reccomend and I would use them again and even try other products if needed to.

Was not as effective as expected ,very mild in nature . Doesn't give that great results.
