Review: Nice Sphyg - basic and solid construction - This is a nice Sphyg Blood Pressure Cuff that I use in conjunction with my 3M Littmann 3100BK27 Electronic Stethoscope, Black, 27 inch scope. I am in EMT school and this cuff is easy to use, well-made and does the job. I use various ADC products so I was happy to read the good reviews and purchase this cuff because it was in my price range and looked durable enough. The sizing is easy to follow (once you get the hang of it) and I like this cuff. Great materials and construction and good markings on the cuff. The bulb and screw operate well and the screw is sensitive enough to allow for a nice slow release of air from the bladder even when you are just getting used to the cuff and accustomed to taking vitals. I am new at taking vitals but learned how to take blood pressures years ago. So much is automated now but I know that on our ambulance, the first BP needs to be manual. The gauge is easy to read and the cuff is easy to handle. For us newbies (and those who are accustomed to handling a stethoscope and a cuff at the same time and have been doing BP's forever), this is a nice and affordable BP cuff. Recommended.
