Game Changer. I wish I had known about these years ago. I bought these for my husband who has horrible, cracked heels. But I usually try things out on myself first. I have 2 calluses near my big toe on both feet. 4 swipes on each one with the one with larger holes and they were virtually gone! I just smoothed the area with the finer files. Husband’s cracked heels are a thing of the past. I also did heels and bottoms of my feet; they are so smooth and soft. When I rub them together at night; it took a second to realize they were my feet and felt so good. Now this next thing, I understand they were not made for, but in the winter, I have very dry legs, and when wiping down with a towel all this nasty skin would rub off. So, after a shower I tried the 2 smaller ones out on the areas where there was a lot of dead skin, OH MY WORD, the beauty of doing it while my skin is still damp it literally peeled the skin off, in a good way, with no pressure. Make sure you put a towel or something on the floor to catch everything. Put on some lotion, and no more flaky “dandruffy” legs. I am actually getting another set, so I can have my very own. I was so happy these worked, better than I could ever imagine. No need for a ped egg, or pumice wheel, threw them away.

This thing is great and affordable. It has 2 tools with 3 functions. There a a few reviews complaining it doesn’t work and cuts them, however when using the larger tool you gotta use some common sense. The directions say only use up and down only! (No side to side) . The large cheese grater tool does work like a cheese grater! If not careful, the harder you push and longer you use it will eventually get to healthy skin. Some have more of a reason than I do to use this but my feet always felt rough and dry but not super calloused. The first night I used this product I could tell a huge difference!!! Depending on your foot situation will determine how frequently/intensely you may need to use it. My feet were too rough for the walmart foot files and they never lasted more than a week. The file on the smaller tool is tougher and does a lot better job! I was afraid at first to use the larger tool, however it is good to hesitate and make it a process to get wanted results! So far these tools have been great this week and my feet are finally smooth again!!! :)

I can never find these in this size. I usually only find the smaller ones. These are great, work as designed, and are just what I was looking for. (If you've never used this sort of thing, they are much easier to use when they are this size as opposed to smaller.)

The large foot file has wide openings. So it DOES work BUT best used on heavy calluses. It worked great on the bottoms of my feet!!! It takes off so much CRAP!! It looked like my foot was snowing (gross, I know). But if you do the big blade on the sides of your feet or the tips of your toes, it easily scrapes away too much skin and causes you to bleed. I didn’t even feel it when it was happening!! The smaller file is good for small spots and can be used on the sides and tips of your toes BUT it’s a very small grain and doesn’t take as much off (it also has a capture chamber for the skin so you can open it and dump it out. The big file doesn’t have that so you will need to lay a towel down so you don’t get dead skin all over your floor). They really need to offer a middle sized blade/grain for the purposes of the sides of feet and tips of toes because 1 is intense and the other is very mild. So please just be careful with the big sized one!!! Still 4/5 stars because it does work. I just wished someone had warned me of the intensity of the big file. I am on the search for a middle intensity one!!

I have horribly cracked callouses on my heels and have used MANY devices to smooth them, from the sandpaper file to the rotating electric file, to the pumice stone/file/tiny grater combo and nothing got deep enough into the callous to truly fix the issue. I used this, and in ONE shot got rid of all of the callous build up! Most other devices helped the callouses feel smooth for a day or two, but then as skin grew out, I'd get tiny unsmoothed pieces of skin that would feel kind of scratchy and catch on my sheets. With this, I'm still pretty smooth nearly two weeks later. The pieces are very easy to clean, the smallest piece is two-sided and the grate part pops out for cleaning. I just put some foam antibacterial soap on them when I've used them, let them sit for a while then rinse them off. I did experience quite a lot of soreness on my heels for two days after using them and was worried I'd gone too far, but have suffered no other ill consequences. Just be sure not to go too far with the callous removal as these tools aren't joking around! I highly recommend them to anyone with thick, tough heel callouses!
