Bound By Love (Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles Book 6) - Kindle edition by Reilly, Cora. Romance Kindle eBooks @ desertcart.com. Review: Nice Wrap Up! - I like how this booked tied together the previous ones. And I think it's important that we got Aria's and Luca's POVs on the key plot points. And it didn't feel like we were beating a dead horse, by going back to the beginning. Ugh the honeymoon and birthday celebrations were just amazing, fangirling! This book also shows how much of an effect Aria has on Luca. But also how much she need to grow to trust her husband more. You see if with her sisters as well. Acting without thinking about the consequences, but then freaking out when the consequences ultimately happen. In this case Fabiano's fate, it's like they forgot the type of person their father was.But the bottom line is communication is key in this relationship and Aria really needs to get a clue when it comes to acting on her own, and Luca immediately going to a strip club to after their argument. Use your words people 😭. Dante is a cheeky somebody, but I think his role in this story was needed, and a wake up call to Aria of how much power she has over Luca's emotions and the affects they have on him. The biggest issues addressed in this book was Luca's cheating. I'm glad we got what Aria was thinking and how it effected her. Because in Bound by Honor, it seemed like she just brushed it off. But in this book it was addressed and resolved. Major character development on Luca and Aria's part. We dived deeper into their relationship and caught a glimpse of the cracks. This book got dark fast, so many twist and turns. And the cliff hanger was perfect. Review: Lengthy review : spoilers - Again I love cora reilly and the mafia world she has created. Let's start with Aria. In her sisters books she was more annoying but she was definitely better in this one. It aggravates me though that she continues to betray Lucas trust. I understand her intentions are good but what were you thinking leaving unprotected and alone !? Honestly that was the only time she annoyed me on this book. I love Luca. Should he have done a little more groveling ? Absolutely but he had every right to be upset. Matteo definitely shined in this book, especially with his niece. I also appreciate that unlike a lot of romance books ( doesn't matter the genre of romance) they waited to get pregnant. I loathe the pregnancy trope but if done right I don't mind it. It was very well executed. I read these series backwards without realizing and read the cammora chronicles first which is still my favorite series so I like how Remo and the falcones were introduced. Now to why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars ... I wish we didn't spend 55% of the book hashing out what we've already read in the previous 4/5 books. I definitely understand a recap of Luca and Arias opinions and thoughts throughout the Gianna and Lily mess but I don't need to re read what already happened and the same conversations that I definitely just skimmed over to get through the book. I felt as though at times it was just meant to be page fillers which I hate to say because I love Coras writing style but 55% of the book was just too much and honestly boring and not what I expected. I did not read Dantes book nor growls book because I really have no interest and I will probably take a break for awhile from this mafia world but all in all it was a great series as of yet. I love the relationship between the sisters and between Matteo and Luca but again I'm a falcone girl and honestly prefer Kiara over Aria.

One of my favorite mafia romance series
Beside Susan Fanetti’s Pagano Family/Brothers and A. Zavarelli’s Boston Underworld Cora Reilly’s Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles is one of my favorite mafia romance series. It follows the lives, troubles, fights and loves of the Vitiello brothers and the Scuderi sisters who are the Famiglia in charge of New York. It all started with Bound by Honor, where Aria, the eldest daughter of a prominent mob family In Chicago, was given in marriage to Luca Vitiello, the capo of the Cosa Nostra in New York to forge an alliance. Luca has a reputation as a vicious and merciless killer, and even though Aria knows her duty she is terrified of him. But instead of bedding her on their wedding night, Luca cuts his arm to provide the bloodstains on the sheet that are to be displayed the next morning in a disgusting tradition of verifying the bride’s virginity and in the end Aria and Luca fall in love. The subsequent books deal with Aria’s cousin Val and her sisters Gianna and Liliana and also an enforcer of the Las Vegas mob who defects to the famiglia out of love. Bound by Love brings the series full circle as it again centers on Aria and Luca and their troubles as Gianna’s and Liliana’s stories are (re-)told from their perspective. Defying her husband Aria interferes on her sisters’ behalf and Luca feels betrayed, as she is the first person he has allowed himself to love. They have to surmount a lot of difficulties and make some painful decisions before they manage to find their way back to each other. After that they live as happily as can be expected of a mob family steeped in blood and facing danger every waking hour, though Luca tries to shield his family from the worst of it as well as possible. Although there maybe some triggers (sex, violence), I really like the balance Reilly strikes by portraying hard, merciless mob men and the sweetness they show to their women and families. Also, she manages to skate the edge of dubious consent, but in an exciting way, and ultimately the choice to surrender lies with the women (mostly). This book also provides an exciting link to the spin-off series Camorra Chronicles, focusing on the mob family in Las Vegas. The first book, Twisted Loyalties, is about Fabiano Scuderi, Aria’s little brother, who, after being abandoned by his father, has fought his way to the top and is now the Consigliere of the Vegas mob. I can’t wait to delve into it.

One of my favourite series ever!

"Bound by Love" is my favourite Cora Reilly's book so far. I loved the build-up of the relationship between Luca and Aria in the first book " Bound by Honor". In the 2nd part, their relationship takes a deeper meaning as their love for each other grows after each bump on their way. Their emotions are perfectly described. Their marriage life is filled with some lovely, heart-warming and passionate moments and some dark, angst moments. Here, angst is wonderfully written, it's like seeing your parents fight, you can't help feeling sad for both of them. And it leads to lovely make-up sessions. I love when they make up. I love Aria's unwavering love for Luca, her sweetness but I also understand her loyalty to her sisters because she's the eldest and she took care of them from an early age. But what I love the most is the evolution of Luca, his various reactions and emotions throughout the book, and his close bond with Matteo who has always his back. The two of them have unique personality. They are very well-written. And of course, the relationship between Aria and Luca is filled with real emotions, so intense, so beautiful especially in the last part. It's a beautiful love story.

Whew what a ride!

This book is perfection. It has the right dose of angst, action, love, sex, darkness, thrill and tenderness. What I loved the most is how well written all the characters are and their interaction. Of course the main couple, Luca and Aria are addictive, but also Matteo, Giana, Lily, Romero,… everyone is extremely well defined and very in character. Not sure if this make sense but they are all perfectly portrayed and you can picture them acting the way they do. I really liked to have Aria and Luca’s POV, I missed Luca’s thoughts in their first book but here we have them both and make their story more interesting and complete. It's my favorite Cora Reailly books. It has everything. High tension, anger, pretty steamy scenes, deep love, forgiveness, awesome twists and pretty funny dialogues. Luca can be so serious and at the same time make some pricesless remarks. Wonderful world building, amazin characters and great writing make this book a must read.
