I can connect to it from my phone. I can connect to it from my laptop. It drives my speakers effortlessly and without distortion. There is no hiss. I read that an older model had sparks but I haven't seen any sparks on my unit. It appears to be built well. It's not audiophile grade and it won't power concert hall speakers but for the price it works remarkably well. I've only had it for a few days so I can't talk about its durability though. It was so cheap I didnt expect much, well except maybe I would have to return it...BUT Guess what...this little thing rocks. It has exceeded my expectations. Blue tooth works perfect every time. Sound is delivered crisp and clean. Granted your not talking about a honkin big 400amp power supply so for my little 4 inch book shelf speakers it got plenty of power. I used simple 12 guage wire and am having no issues. The thing runs 24/7 waiting on a bluetooth connection. Its annoying though, now that my daughter found it and drops in with her crappy pop music. Not the amps fault.
