The material is a cool mix of a hard plastic and a rubbery material, and it's the perfect combo--the case fits like a glove, but isn't difficult to get on. And the feel of it in your hand is great--enough slip where it's easy to slide in your pocket, but enough grip that it won't fall out of your hand.
