Philips Azb600/12 Audio Portable Cd Radio Recorder, Dynamic Bass Boost, Silver

This is a very good brand of stereo it has all 3 ways to enjoy music ,DAB,Cassette and CD player. It is very neat to look at and fits in most spaces .

At moment seems work well mainly use dab for country music station. But has cd & tape.

I needed a good stereo sound.

Bought this in good faith as we had a Philips Clock Radio for 30 years after we got married!! This Philips is not good quality and failed on several points. The case is flimsy and wouldn’t stand any hard use at all. The controls are all over the place and not obvious or logical to use. The main reason for buying this machine was that it had all the functions on it that I wanted – in one box. However the DAB radio refused to settle on any stations on the ground floor of my house in East Yorkshire, despite it being alongside another DAB radio that we have in the kitchen. It also refused to lock on to any DAB stations when sitting alongside another DAB radio in the bathroom. It finally accepted some stations when in the position that I mainly wanted to use it at my bedside, until after about 20 minutes of use it started to fade and then BBC Radio 4 disappeared altogether. The CD player was also faulty – creating a gap between each track with a noticeable disturbing ‘CLICK’ – very off-putting. The sound quality is not brilliant either, certainly not what would expect from a Philips at this price. I was also very cross to realise that to return the player has cost me money – something that I object to doing - as the machine is just not up to spec, and for me – a complete waste of money. May I suggest that Valutech Ltd., who supply the machine, have a rethink as it is plainly a sub standard item they are supplying.

Very difficult to understand tuning of radio. No earphone socket. Never even thought to check on that before I bought it. Who would think that they'd make a machine without a earphone socket in this day and age?

Came with two pin plug (which was replaced with three pin plug promptly after contacting supplier through Amazon). Distorted sound when playing tapes and skipped on CD's. Not easy to see controls. Not impressed so returned and received a prompt refund.

It's great value & portable enough to use it wherever you go 👍.

One snag, no on or off button, but I believe it will go off on it's own when not used after a certain time. Otherwise it's smashing. Nice sound. I had a Phillips previously and it lasted about ten years. Also a good price.

dieser radiorecorder ist ein super teil - alles in einem - radio fm und dab+, cdplayer, cassettenplayer. gerade für menschen die noch einiges an cassetten und cd haben, möchten diese ja noch gerne nutzen. das teil ist klein, leicht und sieht auch noch gut aus. klar ist die tonqualität bei gerade 1W pro lautsprecher nicht die beste, aber das nimmt man gerne in kauf bzw. weiß man ja wenn man aus der "cassetten-generation" ist. das einzig negative was ich zu sagen habe, die beschriftung der tasten ist sehr schlecht zu lesen. aber nach ner gewissen zeit weiß man ja welche taste man zu drücken hat. ich kann den AZB600 nur weiterempfehlen

Den ger mig möjlighet att lyssna på det förgångna på ett bekvämt och lättsamt vis. Ljudet är inte så stort men det är p g a dess litenhet och inkräktar inte på vad man som retrofantast är ute efter, nämligen att kunna spela kassettband från från en lyckligare tid.

L'apparecchio è arrivato prima del previsto in confezione molto accurata. Funziona a meraviglia, soprattutto le stazioni radio selezionate in modo automatico! Legge sia i CD che le cassette in modo perfetto.
