## Description

The Gunsaver Dehumidifier works by slightly increasing the air temperature inside the gun safe or other enclosure. It works perfectly, keeping humidity level between 32 and 35% and the temperature around 73 degrees. I have a large safe and it took a week or so for everything to stabilize, but after that period, it has remained constant. The unit is very warm to the touch, of course, but not burning hot. Highly recommended. I recommend a monitor to accompany this such as the Acurite 613A1 so you can keep track of the humidity and temperature inside the safe.

**Q: Is this a twin pack as shown in picture**
A: This is a single but we have pictured both the 12" and 18" rods

**Q: Do you keep this plugged in 24/7/365??**
A: The dehumidifier doesn’t work if it is not plugged in 24X7X365.

**Q: Would the rod could cause fire due to heat that it produce?**
A: I have mine hanging from the side so it want be against the carpet liner. So far it hasn't caused any trouble.

**Q: Where do i run the electric cord out of my safe? Do i need to drill a small hole or is it safe to run out the door?**
A: If your safe does not have holes already drilled, you can safely drill a hole.  You can also run it out the door as long as the closed door won't damage the cord, and your safe door closes completely.

Works great. My safe didn't have a hole predrilled so that was a bit of a task making one. But once I did, it worked great. Gets a lot hotter than I had thought it would, but that is how it works. If I could do it over again I would maybe consider getting the smaller size as I think it would have been adequate, but I figured go big or go home.
