This probiotic has helped my daughter with her gut issues. I would recommend it to others.

Compared this to a namebrand with the same active ingredients and there is no difference. Really helped out after being on antibiotics for a few weeks.

I can't take this at recommended dose as it causes gassiness. However, at 1 capsule daily, I have noticed an increase in weight loss when I maintain my diet. Instead of losing 1/2 lb weekly, I lose 1 lb weekly and the weight stays off, which is huge for me. So, it isn't a magic pill but it does increase the results of my efforts. I am not losing a ton of weight but what I am losing is staying off. This is so important for motivation. When life gets in the way, and I can't stick as strictly to my diet, I am not immediately regaining all I worked so hard to lose. So when I can get back on board, I am not starting from square one again. Very satisfied with this product.

I researched L. Rhamnosus for collagen support. Swanson is a brand I trust and decided to add this probiotic to my stash. I haven't particularly noticed direct benefits but will continue taking for general collagen health.

I bought this for someone with IBS but they haven't tried it yet, so I added it to my probiotic mix. I'm having no problems while taking it, but can't tell if it's beneficial or neutral. What I can tell is that I get outrageously foul-smelling gas 18-24 hours after taking it, which stops if I don't take it. That by itself means I won't buy more. EDIT: tried taking these after a long course of antibiotics and they seemed to help my system recover somewhat faster. So maybe a good option for that purpose.

I read about a recent study which was designed to reduce peanut allergies in people who suffer from this though I thought It curious that the researchers used this bacteria as a key ingredient in their treatment, especially since there are so many different intestinal flora around. A little research into LR told me that this was a probiotic used to help people with travelers diarrhea, and that the strain was quite robust, enduring long after one stopped taking it. I figured I might want to try this to see if it would help with my restless leg syndrome, though I wasn't hopeful after trying just about every other probiotic on the market, many of which are much more expensive and contain larger varieties of strains. It took about 4-5 days of 2 capsules at ever meal, but I've been good since my first purchase. Ninety pills a month is a small price to pay for relief and many good nights sleep. In another month or so, I'll try decreasing the dosage to see what happens. Good stuff!

The fact that right on the bottle it recommends that it be refrigerated (which you don't know until it gets delivered) and then the courier company drives around with the bottle for 5 days instead of ensuring a quick delivery, likely all the bacteria are dead. Go and purchase the product where it would be kept refrigerated, so that you don't waste $29.00 on bacteria that are likely dead and won't be effective.

Don't buy this product. It was already at its "best before date" the day that it arrived.
