I feel like I hit the Bingo jackpot with this beach blanket! It very, very nice and indeed extra large. It will serve my family at soccer games, zoo days, beach outings, picnics, etc. It rolls tightly and is portable with being bulky or heavy. I like the rainbow color because if my grand kids run off to play, they can spot it from a distance without too much trouble. Its a veritable glowing checkpoint for them to come back to and check in before going off again to play. It's soft on top but waterproof and sandproof on the bottom. This is truly a great buy!

This is a really cool picnic blanket. It isnt made out of soft, fluffy material. The material has a heavy feel to it even though it's very thin. It's really nice ! It also has a water resistant feel and is very wipeable. The blanket is all one piece and it folds up pretty flat and the little pouch is all part of the blanket and not a seperate piece. Glad for the extra large size to accomadate the whole family.

We used it for our trip to Greece, it was great, but the amount of effort to fold when you have 3 small children makes it difficult.It was great for the intended use, on the heavier side; likely due to the water resistant material. I would recommend it for any beach-goers or to lay down on the floor of a boat.
