Hurst 5387201 Competition Plus Upper Replacement Stick

Handle looks great, chrome is perfect. I needed a shorter handle for my Tremec transmission. This fits perfectly with the slight bend and looks great.

Excellent quality but a bit on the short side. I purchased for my 1968 Corvette as a replacement for another shifter that I did not like. It was too short for me. It also is a straight shifter without a bend inward. Because it did not have this inward bend I had to shim it by almost 1/2" or when I put it in reverse using a Muncie 4 speed it would hit the console. There was no way to get it in reverse without it. I purchased a longer version of this handle and still had to use the 1/2" shim I created to make it work and it was perfect.

Sweet little shifter. The smallest one I have seen in years... So small it fits in one hand.

I recently had my factory long throw shifter replaced with not so cheap. .Not that a person really has much of a choice with this kind of item in a sports car but I'm glad i did cause it makes a hell of a difference with the distance between gears & that makes gear changing quicker & less chance of missing with fast shifts..& hust has been a high quality product "WELL" Since i was a teenager in the 70s
