I love this book, so I got it for my daughter. In MacArthur’s way, he shows us how God used imperfect women for amazing purposes (well all His purposes are amazing)

There are study questions at the end of the book for each chapter that I didn't learn about until I finished the last chapter. They help you reflect & apply what you read in each chapter. I love how John chose women that were only mentioned in a few verses in the Bible and created lessons out of their stories. After all they wouldn't even be mentioned in the Bible unless they were important. Some don't even have their names mentioned but their stories are. Our ladies Bible study used this book and the fact that it is on Kindle Unlimited makes it so much more affordable for people on a budget. Thank you for making it that way John MacArthur! I couldn't afford it at first but saved my money up and bought it. I plan on going back to read a few women I missed reading about because I missed those weeks of Bible study. I highly recommend this book for a deeper understanding of these 12 women of the Bible.

This is a must read for every Christian woman! I've read several times and even taught it in Sunday school.

Excellent book for Bible study, for women.

Used this book for Bible study for the girlies as well as personal study of some of the women in the Bible. Love how the characters are personified and helpful context is provided.

Still reading it, but what a great book. So full of knowledge in getting to know these strong women. It would be great as a study group book for 12 weeks. I find myself wanting to share with others what I learned about each woman. The cheaper if Eve is about 13 pages. Love it!!

Sometimes we need to put ourselves in the hands of others who have the message we want and need to hear. I enjoyed each of these remarkable ladies and their stories about how they found Christ. Each one was a tale of their journey through bravery and determination to fulfill the work of God. Many times of suffering brought the strength they needed and God was with them throughout.

I didn't always agree with the commentary. For that reason, it spurred me to research more, which is a good thing. I've since recommended it to friends and family.

Got this to pair with the workbook on kindle. Soo amazing ! Easy to read and very insightful ! Recommend!

I did not feel this was as in depth as 12 OM, but some of the women in this book i would struggle to produce a chapter on as there isnt much with regard to them in scripture. I dod learn so much and it is always good to look at character studies with relation to biblical history. I would reccomment this book for anyone, i origonaly bought this for my wife and we were both challenged by hannah. The study guide is so helpful if you were to use this as a group study.
