VHT SP451 Anodized Color Coat – Blue Spray Paint – 11 oz Aerosol Can

Love the quality of this paint. Color is awesome too!

Very satisfied with this paint, looks great and it's very durable if you follow the curing instructions on the can. Bake at 200 in an oven for an hour. It's supposedly chemical resistant and high temp as well so it would be great for engine bay parts. It works best for the anodized look if the surface underneath is already somewhat shiny, the washers I used in the picture were galvanized.

It’s darker then I wanted it but I sprayed it over with no clean a prep brake calipers and it dried good and really didn’t need to much with a second coating. It’s a midnight midnight purple in a can to me

My pics show the red over yellow over a nice base to make the desired orange. Very cool but fickle candy spray paint. The final result is highly dependent on the base coat you use underneath this product. I found that this RO wheel paint has a really nice metal flake with a silver finish so it was the perfect base. The next best option would be a chrome finish. Use very light coats and the surface must be absolutely oil free. Even just a single finger print can ruin the finish. I learned this the hard way.

1st of all, I had no idea this stuff would be so much fun lol you Will need a good mask as the fumes, although it smells Very pleasantly of cherries, are a bit... irritating to the lungs and sinuses. Was kinda stuffy and congested for a couple days after use with just a simple dust mask. But I used a soft sanding brush dremel attachment and made some "designs" and then coated with the VHT and was not disappointed. I will definitely be ordering and using again in the future. UPDATE!!! 2 years almost to the month. It's held up very well. Jet boat goes 65mph+, so it's managed to survive for 2 seasons straight up being severly abused by water and sun. It's got some chipping (very minor). One bracket faded. No clearcoat on it. Gonna repaint possibly this year (and use a good UV clear this time) definitely can't complain though!

Sprayed on good. But it's much more of a hot pink than purple... Decided to use Dupli-Color's purple instead. Pictures: Engine-bay pic: this is with the parts that are currently on the car. The other one is a part from a junk yard. Multi-color pic: "VT" and the Honda logo are VHT's purple. "EC" is Dupli-Color's purple. I messed up this spray, cause I was rushing, so I took off the masking tape from the letters and decided to test out the two cans side by side. It was sprayed on thick, cause I just wanted to see the color. I didn't care about quality since it's going to be stripped in a few hours anyways.

I used this so far on my truck calipers, rotors, and chrome exhaust tips. Prep is always key. Clean surface. No loose dirt or oily fingerprints. The reflectiveness of the color is dependent on two things: the reflectivity of the base, and how thick you coat the color. On reg calipers and rotors, a good silver anodized base coat is important. On the chrome exhaust tips, a clean surface is all that's needed. Used light coats and wipe the nozzle clean every few seconds. If a "puddle" forms on the tip, it will splotch and then you have a problem- clean it ALL off, or go really thick on coats. The more coats, the darker and less reflective the color. No need to bake like some other sprays. If you do it on a fairly hot day, it will actually dry pretty quickly. If you're not already good with a spray can, buy a cheap can of paint and practice doing light, even coats. That's the most difficult part and where most people mess up.

1985年アルファロメオスパイダーのリペアに使いました。 ベースコートを塗った後、レッドで仕上げました。 素人でもこのレベルで仕上げる事が出来満足しています。

以前、レッドを使ったことがあるので、ブルーも安心して購入しました。 綺麗なブルーの発色で、凄く気に入ってます。 ガソリン系統とエア系統を塗り分けましたので、ツートンカラーになりました。

以前、amazonで購入し使って便利だったので、今回購入をしようとしたらamazonで取り扱いが無かったので買えませんでした。 ネガティブなコメントがありますが、amazonが販売する商品で海外からの輸入品を理解していれば、商品自体は問題ありません。 キャンディーカラーのように綺麗に仕上がり満足しています。 素人でもこの程度の仕上がりなら比較的簡単にペイントできると思います。 amazonで取り扱いして下さい。 お願いします。
