DSE Albolene Moisturizing Cleanser, Unscented, 12 Fluid Ounce

LOVE THIS PRODUCT I grew up watching my grandmother use cold cream on her face nightly, I knew there was a secret to apply a similar product because at the age of 94 she looked much younger than those that were 20 years younger than her. I have been using cold cream on and off over the years and think it is an okay product but I was never over impressed with it, hence the on and off use. I heard about this product through an older woman who talked about that it had been around for a long time, so it must be a good product. I google searched and was thrilled to see that it was sold on Amazon and has amazing reviews! I bought this product and have been using it nightly on my face, neck, and chest to combat aging skin and prevent damaging wrinkles that would likely otherwise occur from being in the sun so often. I put on the product- which is very thick- then wipe off with a hot damp washcloth. ALL of my makeup comes off immediately and leaves me with a smooth and silky feel. Some other reviews that I read stated that this was too thick and left a residue on their face. I find that it leaves no more than any other moisturizer I have ever used, including some of the really thin based and expensive ones. Immediately my face started appearing less fatigued and developed almost a glow to it, without makeup on. I also have noticed that even with light makeup on it appears I am wearing a highlighter, and Im not! I am confident that this product is great for taking care of my skin and I will continue to use it. I know there are multiple uses for this product but I have only used it for facial, neck and chest skin care to prevent wrinkles. I will update if I decide to try any other uses that are mentioned on the previous reviews.

I bought this Albolene after hearing about it on Steve Harvy. His wife recommended it for a waterless makeup remover. She explained that it melts to the touch, you apply it like lotion, it removes your makeup, and you tissue it off. I wasn't expecting it to be so much like Vaseline in it's consistency but I can see why she was saying it's such a nice moisturizer (it doesn't need to be removed with water or anything). I love that the ingredient list is short and paraben free. Come to find out, it's also an excellent hot cream. You can slather a thin coat on, wrap with saran wrap or other plastic (less clean up this way), then put an exercise belt over it. You'll be a sweat house, lol! I found that for under $13, this 12 oz jar, is the best value I could find online. Since it's primarily mineral oil, I think it's a bit overpriced but you do get a big jar and it's very moisturizing. I wear waterproof eyeliner and mascara and this is the only makeup remover that easily removes every bit of my waterproof makeup! I have tried so many makeup remover products over the years and everything either requires hard scrubbing, repeated applications or burns my eyes terribly. This product however, is super gentle and moisturizing. All I have to do is take a little dab, rub it on my eyes and my makeup literally wipes right off! Before, my eyelashes were dry and had breakage. I've been using Albolene Moisturizing Cleanser for a little over a year now and my eyelashes are so soft and longer than ever! Personally, the cleanser is a little heavy for me to use on my whole face (I live in FL where it's hot & humid) so I just use this around my eyes but if you live in a drier climate this would be perfect to use on your entire face every night because of how moisturizing it is. All in all, this is a GREAT product and the BEST makeup remover ever - I highly recommend it, especially if you wear waterproof makeup!!

This is an interesting product with multi-faceted uses. I bought it because a famous movie star commented that she uses it every few days to help keep moisture in her skin. When I read up on it, I saw that it helps you to sweat during a workout. I had stopped sweating, so that interested me. It does both, moisturizes skin and helps you sweat. It is greasy. So use it when you plan on not getting it on anything.

My mom taught me to use Cold Cream to remove makeup but as an adult I've pretty much just used soap and water. I recently decided I wanted to use something gentler but I found out that Pond's Original Cold Cream got bought out and now uses a different formula. I thought I'd try something new so I found this Albolene stuff on Amazon. I was pretty surprised when I first opened it and realized it basically looks exactly like vaseline. I was really worried that I would break out after using it. When I used mascara or eyesliner, I used to have to really wipe and irritate my eyes to take off all the makeup at the end of the day. Now, I wipe this stuff over and under my eyes where I need to remove makeup, then gently wipe away with toilet tissue. It immediately takes off the makeup. I haven't had any trouble with breaking out after using this for a little over a month. However, the skin around my eyes looks and feels a lot more soft and supple. I can't think of a con for this product and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a gentle, moisturizing way to remove makeup.

It’s only recently I discovered this product and why it’s so popular with men. Having now used it many times, I can say without hesitation that it fully lives up to its reputation. It does exactly what you want for personal fun, providing a smooth, long-lasting glide without irritation or chafing, even during extended sessions. It maintains its performance without drying out or becoming sticky and leaves skin and hair feeling pleasantly moisturised afterwards. Speaking as a man, I can confidently recommend it for solo fun, there’s no need to be coy, it makes solo times fantastic Trust me, you won’t forget the first time you use this product.

Nice It do the job

Wow this product is great! My skin is very dry, sensitive and acne prone and it’s extremely difficult for me to find a skincare product that doesn’t make me breakout. For some reason my skin doesn’t agree with a lot of those fancy products. This one is simple and does what it says. It removes my makeup/sunscreen and keeps my skin hydrated. And it doesn’t break me out! It’s very gentle on the eyes too. No stinging or blurry vision. I use this as my first cleanse. I rub it all over my dry skin with makeup on and then run a washcloth under warm water to gently wipe it off. Then I go in with my gentle gel cleanser. Leaves a little bit of oily film but my dry skin is ok with that. Very large container so it should last a long time. Great value for money compared to many other oil cleaners. This brand has been around for years too!!!
