Review: Amazing adult collector set - I hadn't gotten much into the Lego Creator Expert series before I bought this, but holy cow am I a huge fan of the series now that I built this. This is an amazingly detailed model and so satisfying to build as an adult. The entire build will probably take you several hours, and it is very easy to mess up on certain steps if you aren't reading the instructions carefully. Thankfully, all of the striping and the window vents are printed pieces and not stickers. The striping on the doors can end up looking disjointed and crooked because the print placement is inconsistent, but I'm willing to bet it would end up looking the same or worse for most people if it was done with stickers. There are still stickers in this set, including on the license plates, fuel cap, radio, air cleaner, fan shroud, valve covers, and the nitrous oxide bottle, but I don't think imperfect placement of these will affect the look of the model too much. There are some fantastic features in this set, including working steering that connects to the steering wheel, opening doors, removable roof panel to allow access to the interior, detailed engine compartment and trunk, adjustable shifter, adjustable rear suspension height, alternate license plates, and alternate "hot rod" customization pieces. The only detail they missed on this set is they didn't include any pedals, but you could easily add some with any extra small pieces you might have.
