Still works like a charm almost 4-5 years after purchase. I'm really surprised! It's easy enough to use, too, lightweight and discreet... I remember using this to listen to music in class in highschool, when the teachers didn't allow phones. The sound quality leaves a bit to be desired though, and there's no Bluetooth option. All in all when I purchased this, I was only really looking for a nostalgia trip, if anything. I'm delighted this lasted as long as it has!

Very bad. The product came deffective - I kept receiving a disk error and when I tried to connect to a computer to see if I could figure out what was wrong, the device wasn't recognized. I followed troubleshooting steps and failed. I returned and asked for a replacement. After 10 days of additional wait, the replacement arrived and had exactly the same issue. This time I just asked for a refund. If this happened twice in the same order - and the second attempt passed quality controls which you'd figure are more stringent for a second product that has to replace one already denounced as deffective - my guess is this happens in a great percentage of shipped products.

Only had for about a week now.....got for my daughter to listen to music on the way to school. Works great. Just had some trouble figuring out how to get music on it! (Now granted, I'm not good with technology!) It definitely requires an SD card before you can put music onto it. Then u can download music off your computer and onto the device. Easy to use and the battery life is good!

So the HEADLINE is this review in a nutshell. BUT there are some details to know that may make it a bit less aggravating. PROS: Sound is AWESOME! (Don't even waste your time with the included "CRACKERJACK" headphone). PHYSICAL BUILD is AWESOME nice and sturdy! CONS: FIRMWARE is HORRIBLE! And not consistent from player to player (I.E.Green PLAYER has a folder play option, Black PLAYER does not. WARNING! Though your songs may be on the MICRO SD CARD, if you want to play them as organized (I.E. Songs are in numbered folders (may be within sub-folders, like mine are). They will not be accessible by folder unless you download as explained below. You must place songs on card 1. FORMATTED using the PLAYER's > SETTINGS > FORMAT option. 2, INSTALL PLAYER; SD CARD removed from player, PLUG player into USB PORT (If it does not install correctly try a different USB PORT. 3. INSERT; Previously FORMATTED SD CARD into play, then copy folder sequentially from source onto SD CARD that must be wiithin the player. NOW your FOLDERS will show up sequentially accessible. BLACK PLAYER: Press upper NAV BUTTON then you should see CARD FOLDER option . select to access your MAIN and SUB-FOLDERS. GREEN PLAYER: (Don't NAV to the MUSIC option>Go to the FOLDER VIEW option. Briefly press the lower NAV BUTTON and your FOLDERS/SUB-FOLDER will be accessible. To adjust VOLUME on GREEN PLAYER 2 Brief Presses +/- your VOLUME. Yes, the navigation is inconsistent and NON-ORDERLY. But if you can tolerate the annoyance you will GREATLY enjoy these players - whew!!!!!

Very good, would recommend for the price IF you want an mp3 AND and mp4 player. The video player is good, but her is some very useful information: Mp3 playing: I would recommend making a folder on your own for your music, but it will separate the songs by album and artist if you choose. Just to keep it organized, making a separate folder is very useful. Mp4* playing: This is where it gets complicated, since it doesn't play mp4 files to my knowledge. It took a lot of struggling to figure out, with very little help. But I figured out that you DO NOT have to change the measurements/size of the videos, only the file type. Just change your mp4 videos to AMV videos online, there's some good website for this, but make sure you don't move around your device too much, or the device might go out of connected mode, if it does, just unplug and plug it back in real quick. After you put the AMV files into a custom video folder (Just create a new folder and title it video), you're done. Be warned, the video quality isn't amazing, and the videos are sideways for some reason, but ig they did that so it would have more resolution, but again, it's very good for the price. I hope that anyone who buys this will learn from my experiences, and once you figure it out, it's actually not a bad device at all! You can even buy a mini Bluetooth audio jack connector to listen to music with your Bluetooth earbuds. Oh yeah, also only one of the earbud sides works, but idc about that a whole lot :/

Works great and my daughter is able to store tons of music on it.

We got this for a daughter for her birthday...her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when she saw it. What a great present it was! Or so we thought. Not only does it have ZERO memory and will not work unless you have an expansion card, but the card that is SHOWN in the images above (a typical SD card), isn't the one that actually works. We know because we tried to use it. Nope. Damn near ruined the card we tried to use. Why use an image of an SD card that does not work? On top of that, the circular navigation on front is just absurdly designed. You don't press the center to "select" something...that took a while to figure out. The instructions are virtually worthless and it uses a charging cord that was typical...circa 2000. Not even a micro USB cord, it was the thicker kind that was in use before that. Lesson learned. Try to save money and you'll regret it. Just bite the bullet and buy one that has good reviews and actually comes with built-in memory. Or, one that actually uses a real normal SD card and not something that was so out of date that unless you look for one off eBay you'll never find it new. In short: AVOID THIS mp3 player at ALL COSTS. An utterly enormous waste of money.

I purchased two of these MP3 players for my two daughters so they could listen to music while they race their four wheelers. These were perfect. Shipping was super quick and product came just like described. Would definitely recommend for a cheap, quick solution.
