WAHL Professional Animal Equine Soft Body Horse Brush - Black

This is a really really soft bristle brush. Good for your horse’s face. It won’t brush off loose hair however. The bristles are just too soft but it’s a good quality brush otherwise.

My horse approves of the Wahl Body Brush! He’s sensitive and picky, so I’ve tried a few different brushes and even hand mitts for grooming. He’s sensitive and doesn’t paw or get anxious when using this brush. I’ve been searching for a super soft brush. Even though this is meant to be a finishing brush, I use it for his primary cleaning. It’s does great for removing grass, loose dirt and fine dust (using shorter hand movements) after rolling around on the ground. I appreciate the size of it because it brushes larger portions of his body at one time and the grip comes in handy so it doesn’t fly out of my hand. Most importantly, he allows me to brush him without trying to move away from the brush and he ends up looking shiny and feeling so soft.

I bought this for my extremely short-coated Staffie as a finishing brush. However, I’m a horse girl and have used Wahl brushes for all of my life because I like the quality and longevity. They hold up well to both use and washing. It works great on my dog (who basically has the coat as a clipped horse)! Pet products never seem to have the same quality as horse products that have the same use, so I’m happy with my purchase.

It's very soft. Leaves the coat shiny and it's great for legs and sensitive areas.

Sturdy, good quality, soft brush. The only thing is that when I use this on my horse's legs, the brush bristles are so short that the hard handheld part sort of bangs against his legs (which doesn't happen with other soft brushes I've used). It's also not the easiest to hold. However, it gets the job done and doesn't feel cheap.

This brush is amazing. My dog has tiny hairs that feel like little knives when they get on you. I brush her once a day now with this brush which she lives so much she even makes me brush her face and the amount of hair has been cut by 80%. Great product.

Love how soft it is, perfect for brushing the face and getting all the fine dust off and making them all shiny. Has been durable for the past year. Great design, very comfortable grip, and perfect size
