Rancho RS55265 RS55198 Pairs of Shock Absorbers for Chevrolet Silverado 1500 GMC Sierra 1500

These shocks are great. My truck had old shocks that still extended on their own but were too soft when making turns and crappy off road on dirt/rocky roads. The new Ranchos are like night and day. Not too stiff and not too soft, just right.

Living in the northeast, we get a lot of pot holes, and it was finally time to replace the shocks in my 99 Silverado 1500. What a huge difference! These shocks perform much better than stock, and all of the punishment pot holes dish out is no longer transmitted through the frame and drive line. The truck's ride is more Cadillac than Chevrolet. Two things to know about the installation of these shocks: 1. They do not come with instructions, so be sure to pay attention to the bushing positions on your vehicle before installing the new shocks. 2. The new bushings are way smaller than stock, but do not try to use the OEM bushings, as the threaded part of the piston is shorter than the OE application.

The product does not fit my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado z71 four-wheel drive truck, the rear aids are installed, the front ones are not installed, and this is not shown in the product description, I am now stuck with keeping the product in me and I cannot return it because I am in a far country and it is left to me as scrap, bad experience and painful financial loss, You have to make sure of the fit before you waste and lose your money with these!!

Perfect fit and performance. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it didn't include directions. This isn't an issue for most of us, but if you're new to fixing cars, it could be an issue. This is my second set of Rancho shocks on two different cars I own.

Order arrived quickly and on time. This fit perfectly on m 2004 GMC Sierra 5.3L Z71 (torsion bar, NOT spring in the front). My ride is much improved! I also noticed that the upper control arm on both sides needed replaced while doing the shocks. Once all said and done it feels like a new ride! Did not know how badly this piece needed new shocks till after and feeling the difference.

Well I ordered these for my 1999 chevy silverado 1500 2wd and description did not mention it was for the 4wd chevy trucks I never got chance to install until after the return policy.... but back shocks worked but front did not fit PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK B4 ORDERING CANT GIVE AN ACCURATE COMMIENT FOR FRONT BACK SEEM OKAY THO BUT I KNOW MY FRONTS ARE WHAT GIVES MY TRUCK A BETTER FEEL SO 3 STARS I GIVE

I put these on my Silverado does great

Fitment was great and they bolted up easy, I put these on my 2000 gmc sierra they defenitly raised the ride height.
