I installed 3 on each side; which covers the lower portion of the wing, not the upper portion on the stand-up. I decided to wire the running light mode(black wire) to my chicken lights, instead of wiring the stop/turn(red wire) to them. I wanted to add the safety feature of the turn signals and brake lights to my rig. The left 3 connected to the left turn signal, and the right 3 to the right turn signal, which in turn gives me the brake lights when applied. All the other features work as they should, ie,, 4-ways, turn signals with brakes applied, etc. They look great with the chicken lights, but when you put on your signals, they light up the night and can be seen from FAR away. Unfortunately, 4 wheelers still speed up when you turn on your left turn signal. I thought maybe, just maybe, they would let me out, knowing I'll get back over in the right lane as soon as I pass the slow moving vehicle. I'm considering the flashing red stop sign light on a school bus. Could not mount where recommended because my truck has a thick brace and I did not want to drill through it. I installed it on the lip of the plastic that covers the horizontal part of the bumper and drilled a hole on that lip for the knob on the back that has the wires coming out.This would be a perfect item if the wires came out the side and was installed using double face tape. I added them to an old horse trailer that I have never thought the lights were bright enough and too low to the ground and they made a huge difference.
