IONZ 6-Way Horizontal 13A Switched 19-Inch Standardised Power Distribution Unit (Surge Protected with 3 LED)

I purchased this for use in a home network rack and it has been in constant use for 6 months with no problems. It feels well made, nice cover for the power switch to prevent accidental switching. This can be removed completely if required. Case finish is good and looks smart. Plugs all fit well and securely. Switch operation feels good and positive. Decent flexible cable. Visual check of earth and surge protection is reassuring. Can't complain about anything about it, so would recommend.

Appears well constructed meeting all my requirements and easily comparable with other similar items which I have purchased but is well priced in comparison. The item was precise with regard to fitment dimensions and therefore easy to install. Currently very happy with the purchase

Wanted to rid myself of the trailing cables from my bass guitar amplifier rig. Only needed three sockets but still saved the mess in my 4U portable rack case. Bought some short mains cables to go with it so now just have the single cable to plug in on setup with one big switch. Surge protection could be a bonus in the future, never know what you're really plugging into!

For a surge protector this is a nice piece of kit. Construction is top marks with the addition of a switch just the job for me while i am testing a server config. I do have one problem, the cable is 2m long would have been nice if there was a 4m version.

The design is fine for rack mount power. The sockets have sufficient space for normal plugs and small power adaptors. The LED status for spike protection is clear. However there does seem to be an issue with the durability of the mains power switch. It has failed in the ON position and can not be switched off. Probably not something you’d notice until you needed to use it for any reason. I have not overloaded the device (only running a couple of small switches and a modem).
