So I used this for a geocaching container and it has held up nicely inside a little library. It was easy to set my code to go with the special clues I came up with. Would recommend to everyone.

This was a pretty cool gift for my son, who wanted something to keep his "prized possessions" safe. It seemed decently robust for the price, and of course realistic looking up to a point. It was also easy enough for an 8-year old to figure out how to program the code by himself (although he was very motivated). In the future we were even thinking about supergluing another book cover's dustjacket onto it since my son pointed out that someone would think it's weird that he'd have a dictionary in his drawer (fair point). Also, as a side note, we got an extra gift out of this purchase: his reaction opening the gift was priceless since it took him a good minute to figure out why we were laughing at him and his disappointment about getting a dictionary.

This box is exactly what I need. I need lower-security storage that is lightweight and that can be easily hidden. This box is the perfect size, the combination lock works smoothly, and the appearance is a feasible deterrence from afar, or to the untrained eye. The book cover is black and has the texture of a hardcover book. I keep mine in a box of books on the top shelf. The storage box feels sturdy and well-made. I feel it provides the kind of security that would pair equally with a 3-digit combination. The outer cover does not feel the most durable. The cover is cardboard, and feels like a hardcover book. The 'pages' are molded, hard plastic. Up close, very obvious. The plastic feels weak. I wouldn't drop it. Overall, awesome value for the price. Easily stores my lightweight items that do not require high-security, fire, or water protection.

Its fine just sitting there. Blends in with my library for discreetness very well, but I open it at least weekly and the cover is already separating from the safe. When closed its not noticeable so it isnt a big deal to me.

I mean it probably wouldn’t hold up to a sledgehammer but it’s definitely good for small items that you want protected from prying eyes
