Habe über Konjak viel gelesen und wasche den Reis ausführlich unter fließendem Wasser. Dann ist er tatsächlich geschmacklos und lässt sich mit allem - gut Gewürztem! - vermischen. Gute Portionsgröße für einen Person.

Inconsistent size, between uncooked small grain arborio and ready couscous, I am guessing that due to their size and storing in water, movement and friction dissolve them partly in the water, or a production issue. Basically, you just enhance the volume of the dish, no added texture or illusion of rice. The amount is insufficient for a side dish with sauce or a strong taste.
