Exactly what I was looking for and very comprehensive. Great reference book.

I am so surprised with the quality of this book. It covers all the major topics of gardening or landscaping. There are an abundance of high quality pictures. I would recommend this book to anyone.

This is like a cookbook for gardening! So easy to understand! Easy to look up useful information just as you would in a cook book full of recipes! Excellent for anyone to use! I loved the pictures and even drawings to explain how to set up a garden or flower bed. This book just contains so much information. You do not need to read it from front to back to get your helpful information.,

I've had this book for years and loved it for its wealth of information. I just bought this copy for a young friend who just bought her first house and was wondering what the plants and bushes were that were planted by the previous owner(s). So nice to see and encourage a new generation of gardeners . . .

Includes full-color pictures & a wonderful encyclopedia of plants conveniently sorted to annual, perennial, herb, tree, etc. The book also has helpful information for various gardening & landscaping styles and topics.My mother-in-law kindly "borrowed" mine, and so I am now on my 2nd copy. I keep it as my primary reference for any plant questions.
