Pyle Car Stereo Wiring Kit - Audio Amplifier & Subwoofer Speaker Installation Cables (4 Gauge), Blue (PLAM40)

It's a good kit. I do not have any kind of profesión license to conect systems in cars or anything, but I've been connecting subs and audio into cars for about 10 years now. Being that this kit was cheap compared to the kits you can buy in retail stores or audio shops that are more than triple the price of these boss set I thought it wouldn't be to good, but at the time I didn't have the money so I took my chance on this investment, it turns out these wires are equally as good as what you can by anywhere else, so if your looking to save money and your not sure, take my word it's worth it. It makes no sense to spend $60 to $80 on the same thing. To be honest I'm glad I tried it cause I'm probably going to buy this every time from here on out, not a bad set at all.

I'd like to preface my review by saying this is not true 4 gauge wiring (more like 8 gauge). I needed 8 gauge wiring to build a custom sub box, but I don't build boxes frequently enough to warrant buying two different spools. Instead, I picked up this kit which provided enough black and red cable for my purpose. I'm really pleased about this package because it also left me plenty of extra goodies on the side. To summarize: I would never purchase this kit if I actually needed a 4 gauge wiring kit, but I would absolutely purchase this if you just need a couple feet of 8 gauge cable, and plan on using the additional materials in the future.

I purchased this product knowing very well that it would not be 4 gauge AWG. I got the item in the mail & sure enough it was not 4 gauge AWG. Still installed the kit anyway because I knew that & I'm not going for competition sound just good clean sound with 1 12" sealed sub in my wifes 2010 Mazda3. Got everything installed without too much trouble & got the sub working & it works just as well as it did before in her previous car & sounds great now. So just to emphasize, if you're an audiophile & you're wanting competition grade products to drive the most power, this is not it. But if you're the average consumer & you want a cheap kit to hook up your amp & sub I would suggest this kit.

Did the trick for a Cerwin Vega powered subwoofer in the back of a Jeep Wrangler. Had plenty of wire to make the run to the back and neatly to the battery. The only thing i would change is a screw down type of connection for the battery lug rather than a crimp on one for the thick 4 gauge wire.

When researching for an amp wiring kit, I saw a lot of negative reviews for most of them out there, including this one. Not sure why, really. I used this to install a 300 watt mono sub amp and it works great. It had everything I needed except a grommet for the firewall. I've had no issues whatsoever. If you are looking for a wiring kit and are concerned about the quality, I can say this one is just fine.

Great value but the 4 awg wire is sort of a joke. It doesn't even look like 4 awg and it's not 100% copper. It's copper coated tin or aluminum which means you need a much larger awg wire to meet the same amperage requirements. The kit is a great value but it's obviously Chinese made where the labor of faking that it's copper when it isn't is apparently cheaper than just giving you real copper.

Well, after reading the reviews I decided to order this for a little over $15. I really did not need a 4 G kit, I really only needed a 8 G kit. I inspected the product, and no it is not 4 guage, no it is not the best out there, but it does not cost a arm and a leg either. I paid $10 just the other day for a empty fuse holder at a local shop with no fuse! So I do not really see how anyone can complain about this for the price. Now, I would not use this for some monstrous 1500 watt RMS competition class AB amplifer, but for normal amps and class D applications this is great! I do not know about everyone else but to be frank I am not trying to spend a bunch of money on wiring that cost over half the price or more than the amplifier! That is just BS! Nuff said!

Defiantly not 4 & 12 gauge, but I didn't expect it to be. Realistically 8 & 18 gauge. However that being said, aside from being miss represented the wire is not that bad. The biggest problem is the connectors. They are for 4 gauge wire and way to big for the power wire that you get. Pick up some 8 gauge ring connectors and save yourself a headache. I bought it only to get free shipping on the rest of my order and didn't expect to use it. But I did and it's good quality 8 gauge power wire. The RCA's are cheap but they do work. For the price it's worth it.

Connectors can be better quality and fitment.

Ottimo kit di cavi, lunghezza cavo positivo più che abbondante non avrete problemi se dovrete passare per il lato passeggero, non so come mai ma il prezzo che c'è adesso circa 40 euro, non corrisponde a quanto l'ho pagato io(decisamente meno di ora) comunque potrebbe valere il prezzo che c'è ora, non vi mancherà nulla per completare l'installazione del l'amplificatore. Consigliato

Good kit for the price, but came with the wrong size crimps, I made them work but not ideal.

The headline says it all. Very happy with this product and price is good, as a bonus the RCA cable has a built in remote cable as well as coming with a separate remote cable, I opted to use the built in one which made the wire pull easier!

The quality of the main power cable is not great. Likely aluminum wire as the strands break very easily. The actual size of the cable is also quite small, closer to 6 or 8 gauge. The kit does come with pretty much everything you need to hook everything up and do some nice cable management (zip ties, small cable loom) however expect to have to solder the cable ends on as crimping them does not hold. Package was shipped very promptly, received next day!
