Great cabnet! Worth every penny.
Looks beautiful installed into my bathroom wall. Aluminum construction is solid and attractive. Love having mirrors on inside as very useful when cabnet is open, plus sliding magnifying mirror is an added bonus when shaving, etc. Self closing door works great. It's definitely worth spending the extra money on a quality medicine cabnet that will last and is the first thing you look at when you enter bathroom. If you want to save a few bucks you can opt for the model of this that doesn't have the mag mirror and self closing hinges($291) as it is essentially the same unit but I went all out and have no regrets as use the mag mirror every day. As usual great service from Amazon as I purchased directly from them.

Huge and spacious
Excellent quality, lots of mirrors inside and out. Doors snap shut so you need to control the close rather than flipping the door. Otherwise you can get soft close hinges at additional cost (I didn’t do that). Just get into the habit of closing with a soft touch. Contractor installed the cabinet during a bathroom renovation. You have to remove the doors to adjust the interior shelves so I had the contractor show me how to do it. Cabinet is expensive compared to others but it got the clutter removed from the counter top.

Good quality, fit the space.
Luckily, this sturdy, well-made cabinet was just slightly smaller than the decades-old cabinet I was replacing, so I only needed shims to install it. Good quality.

Missing Parts
This medicine cabinet looks great but arrived without the mounting bar for surface mounting, so we can't hang it. And since the work on our bathroom took longer than expected we can no longer return this defective item.

Georgeous, high end, great quality, great price on Amazon!
Gorgeous! Bought 2 of the medicine cabinets for a double sink vanity. High end mirrors! Side mirrors (worth the extra $$) give it an elegant finish...my contractor easily flush mounted them. Having mirrors inside the back & inside the doors is a big plus. The shelves are nicely beveled on the edges. However, there is one drawback: to close the door you need to use the underneath indentation of the door...hard to do... so, if you put your fingers on the mirrored door you leaves fingerprints! Checked the Kohler website but there is no 'knob' or 'handle' that's attachable. Sigh... Thought of using the smallest Command Strip 'hook' but I don't like the look.

Great unit, but just too expensive for what it is
This is a really nice looking and very functional unit. The hinge is quiet and smooth. The interior is sufficient for most bathroom usage - really no better or worse than my cheap previous unit which this one replaces. But I do like the addition of the mirrored interior. The shelves seem substantial and are easily installed. And I like the flush and clean look of the mirror when the cabinet is closed. There is no ugly framing around the glass as most Home Depot/Lowes models tend to exhibit. My only complaint is that this unit is far too expensive for what it is. If the pricing was more inline with what I imagine to be the true cost of materials and labor needed to manufacture this item, then I think five stars would be absolutely acceptable. My brief research on the net shows that the medicine cabinet racket seems to be just that, a bit of a racket. And Kohler is making some easy money off of us. Nevertheless, seeing as how all of the quality cabinets are way overpriced, it is fair to say that this seems to be a really good one.

Great medicine cabinet, BUT
These Kohlers are great medicine cabinets. I've had them before and I'd give them a 5 star rating once they're installed. Now, if they could only arrive unbroken. The problem is that it's VERY easy for the mirror glass to break during shipping. It's a large, heavy item and perhaps Kohler's box and packaging is insufficient to withstand Amazon and UPS. I ordered one. Box arrived sealed, but the one of the door's glass was broken. I ordered another, and the box arrived open, and missing much of the protective styrofoam padding, and with the two door's glass being broken. If you don't return it within the Amazon return window, you have to deal with Kohler who will only replace the broken parts. They won't accept a return. Also, the cab's mirrored side panels are an extra $100 item sold separately. That's on Kohler and it's stupid and lousy. But at least that arrived unbroken.

Great at the Discounted Price That I Paid. Not So Much for MSRP
I had several requirements: 1. No bezel on the mirror 2. Rectangular 3. Mirror on the inside. 4. Single door that swing left or right. That is, no splits down the middle. 5. Soft-close 6. Ease of installation. Can be installed by myself. My pre-purchase research narrowed it down to just one option. Unfortunately, the price was not right at or near MSRP. So I waited and bought the model without the built-in soft close from Amazon warehouse, saving me over 60%. Then I installed "Blum BLUMOTION 971A for Compact Hinges" and it works as well as the built-in soft-close (I tried it in a Kohler flagship store.) This does require a 90 degree angle drill bit attachment. BTW, the Kohler website does offer the soft-close hinges as "spare parts" but at over $50 and it necessitate removing the existing hinges. (Don't, since the hinges were set using self-tapping screws and installing new ones will mess with the ability to hold onto the heavy mirrored doors) As for the installation, Verdera is the only one where you can HANG the mirror after the mounting a metal ledge on the wall. It will stay there, setting your hands free to set the remaining screws so that it can't be lifted off. All other mirrors, that I have seen, require you to REST the mirror ON the ledge near the bottom. With your shoulder against the mirror or with someone else helping, you then set the rest of the screws so that it doesn't tip forward.
