if like me everywhere you been everywhere looking for jeep 4.0 water pump gasket, i went to 5 different auto stores including napa, autozone, orileys and even on amazon they all list the WRONG GASKET FOR JEEP 4.O specifically the jeep cherokee xj water gasket but the amazon comfirmed fit even list this as the wrong gasket but THIS IS THE RIGHT WATER PUMP GASKET!

Installed on my jeep 4.0. Works great. No leaks. It has been on for around 7k miles.

Always go with Fel-Pro gaskets. The Chinese gaskets that come with many parts can't even compare.Well worth the couple of bucks more.

Used this gasket when I replaced the water pump on my '98 Jeep ZJ Grand Cherokee 4.0. Was a lot more substantial than the parts store gasket that came with the new water pump (Napa). While they were exactly the same shape, the Fel-Pro gasket was almost twice the thickness. Haven't had a drop of coolant leak since I installed this gasket and the new water pump, hoping to get more than 4 years out of it, unlike the last one.

Fit my 1994 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 perfectly, the quality appears better than the gasket supplied with the replacement pump.

This was not a Felpro gasket. I have used them for < 20 years.This was a knock off. Buyer beware.
