ESV Following Jesus Bible: English Standard Version

A wonderful quality Bible that I enjoy as an adult because it has beautiful illustrations and a lot of understandable supplementary text. Of course, including the full classical biblical text. I definitely recommend it, and I'm sorry that it is not also published in my native language.

I bought two of these for two of my kids. The ESV is an excellent translation and the additional notes and graphics are great and very well produced for kids

This Bible is great! Full of information but not overwhelming. Has tables laying out important things like all the parables told by Jesus. Each book has a list of key events and what pages to find them. And much more! I’m loving this Bible I want one for myself!

This Bible will not just be with your child as they grow up but will accompany them well into their adult years. It is a full-text Bible, so even you as an elder can read it. There are lots of Bible helps for the child. It has all that the product description promises. Pages, while thicker than of adult Bibles, could have been of higher GSM as kids would use it most of the time. In fact, it makes sense to print longer and wider Bibles so the thickness would decrease. My only complaint is that the font though probably bigger than most full-text Bibles is still too small for a lot of people. Since kids tend to place books close to their faces, it may not be an issue for them. But for us adults, it is! I have always wondered why Bible publishers do not come out with the font used in fiction and other non-fiction books, say 11- or 12-point. It makes reading and even studying the Word of God so much easy and fun, rather than having to hold the book close. ACROSS PUBLISHERS, THE BIBLE'S SMALL FONT IS A BIG, BIG HURDLE IN EVANGELIZING UNBELIEVERS! I have encountered close relatives saying, "But the print is too small for me." Large prints are priced big too :( ...Someone should take this matter up with publishers. If anyone reading this review has connections, please take this up. Very much like the product, great for kids

Such an enjoyable read, I would recommend this Bible version to anyone. Especially helpful for those younger or reading at a lower level due to dyslexia or other reasons. A great choice for the whole family.
