I highly recommend this mattress! My husband and I have noticed improvement in our sleep quality. It’s priced reasonable too. Unboxing was fast and simple. The pillow is incredible, it’s curved and squishy but sturdy, we love how comfortable they are. Quality overall is excellent. We had been looking at mattresses at Costco but this beat their price and quality.

We purchased this mattress for our 23 year old autistic son recently, as his old, chap mattress had become tired and worn out. His bedroom is quite small and so the Twin was our only option, though we did buy the Twin as the XL version so that he has a bit more length. He's just under 6 feet tall so the extra length suits him well, and since he tends to sleep mostly on his side the Twin does work fine. So we tore open the box and carefully opened the plastic using the included cutting tool, no problem there. We placed the mattress atop the bed frame which is a raised 14 inch platform which requires no box spring and then we allowed the new mattress to expand for about 8 hours before we went to sleep. Being that our boy is a night owl he probably didn't climb into his newly se-up bed for another 4 or 5 hours. When he woke up I asked him how he slept and he exclaimed "I slept GREAT!" so I knew that he loved it. The mattress then got the rest of the day to continue to expand. I have to admit to being a little freaked out at first. After getting the rolled up mattress out of the box we laid upon his bed frame while still in the plastic and it looked quite a bit wider than the bedframe. Don't let that panic you like it did us. As soon as it's out of the plastic and is expanding that extra width disappears and the end result is a fully corrected size mattress. We did not notice any sort of aroma emanating from the mattress short of BRAND NEW fragrance. It was just fine. There are NO handles on the sides for carrying but the mattress can be easily set on it's side and manipulated, especially easy if you have a helper. In a nutshell, it appears that this is a really nice hybrid mattress at a great price. It seem firm enough to offer support even for a "Husky" person yet it offers an excellent, very soft, comfortable top, almost like a pillow top, and the mattress seems to keep him cool while he's sleeping. We are very pleased with this purchase at this early stage and will add to this review as/if necessary.

So I have given it four stars as of right now, but I’ve only slept on it for one night and I plan to hopefully update this review periodically so that it’s as thorough and helpful as possible. Hopefully I make someone else’s online mattress shopping experience easier than my own lol. So, the bed arrived the day it was promised (which I think is more based on amazon than the manufacturer). It was very heavy, though I got a Queen. It was scary to open it because I thought I might get slapped in the face, but no one was injured in the process. Butttt it did open upside down so that was a fun thing for my sister and I to have to flip around. I didn’t measure it, but it does look like it opened to full-size pretty instantly. Overall it looks and feels like a very high quality mattress. Now for the important parts. I would say this mattress is definitely a little more on the firm side. I wanted something a little more firm, but this is pretty dense. Just about as dense as a traditional spring mattress. However, I am 4’10 and 140 pounds so I’m a little bean of a person on this mattress and know that can affect how firm I feel it. However, my more heavy set family members also said it felt a bit on the firm side. Though! That is not to say it isn’t comfortable, because it is, but it’s not gonna be that squishy soft sink into your bed feel that comes with a soft maybe memory foam type mattress, which is what I didn’t want. This has great edge support! I initially wanted a pillow top mattress, but due to the intense volume of high reviews on here I decided to go with this one. So, both the pillow tops that I have felt and this mattress all have springs for that bouncy feel of a traditional mattress (very good for adult activity, or romping lol) and a top layer of cushiony material for added softness and comfort. This mattress is not a pillow top but rather a fabric top or whatever they call it and the difference is pretty much just what it sounds like. A pillow top feels like sleeping on top of, well, a bunch of pillows. It has that plushy, fluffy texture of a pillow. The best way I can describe the fabric top is as if someone layered a few comforters or blankets on top and sewed them in. It’s not like you can feel springs or anything, it’s just that sort of texture. It definitely feels dense like thread rather than airy like the fluff material of a pillow. In conclusion, I still like this mattress very much and think it’s great quality. I will update to see if there is any improvement on my quality of sleep or back pain, it’s too early to tell right now. The firmness is something I can overlook and hopefully it will soften over the course of time and use, but if I ever do decide I want significantly more softness I think a topper would do just fine to adjust that. I will also update y’all after my boyfriend stays over to tell if it performs well for couple sleep and romping!
