### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made it super easy to rebuild my Vanos on my E36 M3

I had the rattle and lack of power on my M3 for YEARS. Finally got around to doing the rebuild and these tools are absolutely KEY to make this successful. The only thing different with my setup was that I replaced my clutch/flywheel years ago with aftermarkets (which do not have a hole for the pin), so I didn't use the pin. Honestly, the cam locks are all you need to hold the engine still (unless you are changing the timing chain). I don't see myself ever needing this toolkit again, but for the price compared to other specialized sites, it was a no-brainer. For those doing this job, make sure you pay special attention to reassembly, there's a special sequence to preset/preload the Vanos unit before you push it back onto the cams!

Everything worked great other than the TDC pin.I just took the tdc pin stuck it into a drill grabbed a file and grinded it down until it fit wasn’t difficult good luck! ( tip of tdc pin fits fine it’s the main shaft of the pin that needs filing)

The tool that spins the gear to release the vanos isn't properly made. I thought i was all set to got, had my cams locked and the pin is too fat to actually catch on the gear, luckily I was able to grind it down and make it fit, but not convenient when you're in the middle of a job to figure that part out.
