You heat the wax and apply. When it cools slightly you rip it off like a band aid. **Q: Don't have microwave..can i keep it in oven instead?** A: Its in a plastic container that may not hold up in the oven. But maybe in a pot on the stove? It takes a while for the wax to melt in my low watt microwave but it is probably possible on the stove. It would be a pain though. **Q: Can it be used to wax bum?** A: yes it can but have to be care ful how hot you have it the wax **Q: I do not have a microwave. Can it be warmed slowly in a bath of water on the cooktop?** A: yes it will work. I don't have a microwave so I double boil the wax. It takes about 10 min for the whole chunk of wax got soften.
