Ideal for healthy, incredible protein bars which I make everyday!
Fantastic for making quest-like home-made protein bars! I have bought 7 bottles of this stuff in the past few months. Great for keeping a growing teenager full of healthy protein bars at a lower price than buying pre-made bars. The syrup itself is only slightly sweet, which is nice because you can add sweetener IF you want to, or can opt for a less sweet bar. The firmness of the bar depends on how hot you heat the syrup and for how long. This syrup makes incredible protein bars which I make everyday. Highly, highly recommend!!**************EDIT**********************Here's the recipe if you are interested... (makes 3 bars)(See Pic 1 to see packages of the ingredients)STEP 1:Mix the following and then microwave this liquid for 2 minutes on power level 4:~ 3 to 4 tbls Vitafiber Syrup (THIS PRODUCT)~ 1/2 tsp of flavors Lorann Oils Bakery Emulsion and have tried & like:Buttery Sweet Dough, Red Velvet, Princess Cake and Cookie, Cream Cheese emulsion, or even flavored water concentrates!SUGGESTIONS:*For savory options, try a scoop of Marmite Yeast Extract, S&B Golden Curry Sauce Mix, or Better Than Bouillon, Organic Chicken Base!*I do NOT recommend artificial flavors: Pumpkin, Rum or Peanut Butter which taste horrible (in my opinion)STEP 2:While heating the syrup, I mix:~ 5 tbls of UNFLAVORED Whey Protein Powder (Whey Protein Powder Isolate by BulkSupplements (1 kilograms) | Clean & Pure Unflavored 90% Isolate for Men & Women | Build Muscle Mass & Burn Fat Fast) if I am adding flavor (or just choose a flavored protein you like)~ 1 tbls coconut flour~ A few "chunks" of something yummy (For Sweet, this could be butter cookies, dried blueberries, yogurt raisins, fruit snacks, etc. or for savory maybe add some chucked chicken, jerky sticks, nuts, crackers, whatever you want!)STEP 3:When the hot syrup is ready out of the microwave, mix the powder into the liquid until mixed well. Spoon the mixture into silicone bar pans (Freshware SL-113RD 9-Cavity Narrow Silicone Mold for Soap, Cake, Bread, Cupcake, Cheesecake, Cornbread, Muffin, Brownie, and More) and refrigerate for as little as a half an hour and they are ready to eat!

Best sweetener I have found
I am trying to elliminate all sugar from my diet as too much sugar makes my muscles ache and I can't sleep. I read on a low carb site that this is made from fiber so it doesn't get absorbed to raise blood sugar levels. I purchased this because I wanted to make a Pecan Pie substituting the corn syrup with this syrup and it worked! It is not real sweet, but it worked perfectly in this pie. Most Pecan Pies are sugary sweet and this made it very palatable with just enough sweetness to make this pie a huge hit even with my family that still uses sugar. While I don't have a glucose monitor, the pie made with this syrup didn't make my muscles ache and I slept like a baby. I am so glad that I found this product. It is a great substitute for me.

Paul Skittone Interested in trying new things
This product seems too good to be true! Kudos to modern science. No ill effects from gobbling down a whole bottle relatively quickly. That it has to be refrigerated and gets thick is too bad and it's way too expensive for regular use like Splenda. I guess it can find a nitchas pancake syrup and an additive to increase the much needed fiber in the diet. It has a mildly sweet taste which is delightful. Can't wait to try theprotein bars!

Wonderful product! I'll be back for more!
I am very, very impressed with this stuff, and am just wishing I knew about it before now!!!!! I saw some protein bar recipes on Pinterest that called for this ingredient, with a link to Amazon, so naturally this is where I got it, and the coconut butter (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004NYDPCO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00) that goes in the bars as well. I can make 1 protein bar and it carries me through most of the day (after hot cereal for breakfast). It's a little bit expensive for me, but well worth it. I will probably buy the larger size next time. It's amazing how sinful this makes a protein bar taste - I would recommend this for anyone with blood sugar issues. I have a terrible sweet tooth and this really helps me stay away from sugary stuff. Plus no post-sugar crash afterwards!!!!

WILL NOT BUY AGAIN RAISED BLOOD SUGAR BY 30 POINTS!!
They say sugar free, not sure what kind of research they do, but I test a fasting, one hour after a meal with dessert and then two hours. Usually after one meal and dessert my bloodsugar is under 100mg/dl, this time with dinner and this fibafiber dessert bar I made after one hour it was 135mg/dl!! IT took three hours to get my blood sugar under 100.NOT SUGAR FREE!!!!

Not very sweet unless consumed directly, and even then...
I have been using stevia as a sweetener for a decade, and wanted to find a more beneficial sweetener replacement to put in my tea. Vitafiber is no such replacement. At first I tried a tablespoon because it's advertised as not as sweet as sugar - couldn't taste a thing. Next time I doubled it then quadrupled it. Nada. So I tasted it directly, and came to the realization that this is truly intended to be consumed with no dilution, like perhaps on waffles, applied with a honey dipper, exactly as shown on the label. The amount I'd have to consume with tea to get it to a pleasant sweetness would maybe be in a 4:1 ratio, and I think that is an uncomfortable amount of undigestable fiber to be given to my microbiome at one time.Afterwards I made some oat bars with this as a binder since most reviewers here are using it as a main ingredient in making some form of bars. The consistency came out nice and chewy, but even with the quantity I used in the recipe, it still just doesn't taste sweet. This stuff is about as sweet as the inulin and arabinogalactin powders that I have. I think this stuff is still useful for the undigestable fiber, and it has some interesting baking applications. I appreciate that it is a single ingredient product and that they aren't trying to sweeten it up with other ingredients like sugar alcohols, artificial sweeteners, and the like.
